I purchased this during Amazon days to fill a need of a shelf in my office.I wasn't totally sure about this by the photo, but I really love this shelf. It looks better in person (I think) than it did even in the photos. It's cute, simple, fairly easy to assemble, and provides a great shelf for my office (don't mind everything piled on the bottom).

Good quality and very easy to put together

I bought this knowing that it was going to be too long. In fact, 6 inches too long for where I wanted to put it. I added this as part of my zoom background for teaching and college. Knowing that I had the tools necessary, I knew that I needed to take off 3 inches each end. I rolled out my table saw, and began to cut each of the shelves to take off 3 inches per side of the shelves. From my pictures, you can see that the wood is actually hollow inside, with two support beams through it to prevent warping if you put something heavy on it. I then thinly sliced the ends of the scrap board I removed with the table saw to cover up the sides that had those rectangular holes. I then counter-sunk 4 nails per side to finish it off.All in all, this is a great budget-friendly shelf. I am happy with it, and glad that I am able to make it fit where I needed it to be.

These shelves are just fine for what they cost and considering they come in a cardboard box from god knows where…. I got two of them to sit side by side and run the length of the back of my couch. They don’t quite line up just right on the bottom shelf. With metal and wood construction there isn’t any wiggle room to adjust so that everything is square, but it’s not so far out that I felt the need to return them. They look pretty good and assembly was pretty easy. Just could use a bit more QA from the factory. But you get what you pay for.

If the look is liked, it fits the intended space, and supports the intended weight--then it is hard to go wrong with this table. Assembly of the good quality materials is simple and the finished product is stable and sturdy. The only improvement would be if it was made to fit 12" vinyl records (it's a wee shy in height).

The wooden board is extremely low quality mdf. Thickness 0.75 inch. Board is held by 0.5 inch screws in 4 places. Needless to say there is no stability of the table, it wobbled from day one and feels like will break even if a child pushes it. I had urgent need of the table so didn't return it.The table finally broke while it was being moved around in house within 6 months of purchase. See images.It is not only a waste of money but almost a scam to sell a product of this quality to customer.
