I like this product overall. I made bubble tea with tapioca pearls. I used the straws for the tapioca pearls. The tea didn't taste like I thought it would and it took a long time to make. The straws and tapioca pearls were not like they looked in the picture. It was a different brand of tapioca pearls and the straws were not colorful they were kind of bland. Overall for $20 it was a pretty good product. I recommend it even though I didn't necessarily like the taste of the tea.

Definitely a money saver compared to going to a shop. Very easy to boil up, it's a quick 10 minute process. The tea was loose leaf but was tasty

I was so excited to receive this product that I literally made my first cup of boba tea minutes after un-boxing!I love that the Thai Tea provided in this kit is lose leaf tea and not a powder, it smelled so good when I cut the bag open!The boba (tapioca pearls) are super easy to make, you can follow the instruction on the back of the package. I cooked on medium heat for 5 minutes, however, instead of the 2-3m suggested on the package and I also let it steep for 5 minutes. Once rinsed with cool water after cooking I soaked them in a simple syrup. They were squishy and PERFECT! So much so that I actually liked them better than many I've had in restaurants.The tea is just as easy, and I followed the directions on the bag (I didn't see how long to steep, so I suggest 4 minutes, be careful as this tea can stain).One thing to keep in mind is that you do need to refrigerate the boba after you have opened the package, it suggest you use it fairly quickly after opening as well (some say within a week after opening).All in all I am very pleased with this purchase!! YUM!

The Thai tea leaves were full of food coloring. Even touching it left coloring on my hands. Awful. Tried steeping it and it left orange paint like streaks on my teapot. Threw the whole bag out. Actual taste of the tea was nice but I couldn’t bring myself to drink it with all that food coloring used. The bobas were ok but after seeing how awful the tea looked I have my doubts about how clean the bobas really are.

My husband and I LOVE boba tea, and the only shop in town that sold it has closed. We were (are) so sad. But now I can make a pretty close imitation right from home! It is a kind of messy process if you don't have something to brew the loose leaf tea in, but otherwise it's painless and pretty quick. I mixed some sugar and skim milk in with our tea after chilling it, and served it cold over ice and the boba. It is really refreshing. The tea itself is a dark reddish brown, so the picture looks like bloody mary's, but it's totally chilled tea with milk. Super great product!Just a heads up, the kit comes with way more servings of tea and straws than boba. We will have to buy another bag of boba to go with the remaining tea, although I bet we can get another three uses out of the boba before having to do so. If you haven't tried making this tea yet from home, get a kit and try it! You'll love the experience and the end result.

I like so much that everything is in the kit except cups, however they are easily obtained. I would give this 5 stars except I think a larger bag of Bobba is needed the Bobba is easy and quick to make, I added honey to the water they came out perfect soft and chewy makes me want to put 5 stars. The straws are perfect. I opened the box cooked the Bobba steeped the tea poured it in a blender added vanilla coffee creamers and a little agave nectar then I added ice and blended,I poured into glasses with Bobba on the bottom. The visual of the Bobba floating up was delightful! Understand we truly enjoy Bobba! I placed the straw in glasses gave to my husband and daughter, my husband drank his and my daughter's he really enjoyed it! I enjoyed it! My daughter did not like it. The tea and straws will last awhile however the Bobba I must buy now so we dont run out. Also I do request they make the kits in other flavors,PLEASE! I am changing my rating to a five. You will really enjoy.

Did not come in package like expected! Ordered this as a gift and when I opened the box I was expecting to find a neat presentation that I could gift. Items were wrapped together with packing tape and boba's are not the same brand nor description as in the pictures. Hope it still tastes the same ... :/
