Review: Note that these are the smaller of available sizes... - I thought I was getting the big ones, but that's my fault -- I know that there are different sizes available, just wasn't paying attention. They still work really well for smaller projects or touch-ups. Flexible for multiple use, but stiff enough for surface-work -- lots of uses for these little ribs! As for my "for beginners" rating, my teacher tries to get beginners to use ribs, but I had to start with feeling the clay for myself and work up to ribs. Your mileage may vary. Review: A great addition to your clay tool kit. - The high degree of flexibility makes using these ribs immensely satisfying. They bend easily making altering forms in clay a dream, much easier than metal ribs and ply ribs. ## Features - Enhanced Pottery Crafting: Elevate your artistry with IMPRESA Soft Ribs for Pottery, meticulously crafted to ensure precision in shaping and smoothing. They bend easily making altering forms in clay a dream, much easier than metal ribs and ply ribs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good rib for pottery. *by W***K on May 12, 2022* I like this rib—2 in the pack. It is soft—not rigid—but is a little smaller that I expected. No sharp edges. Very good for smoothing clay…on the wheel or slab projects. The price was higher that it needs to be…but it seems durable enough to last a while. I would buy it again. ## Frequently Bought Together - Impresa Soft Ribs for Pottery - Pack of 2 - Ultra-Soft, Red Silicone Shaping Pottery Tools for Crafting - Smooths and Shapes While Removing Finger Marks - Ideal for Wheel Throwing and Handbuilding - Pottery Sponge for Clay, Clay Sponge Cleanup and Shaping Tool for Pottery and Clay Artists - 4 Pack Stainless Steel Circular Clay Hole Cutters, Wooden Handle Clay Tools for Drilling and Sculpture, Pottery Tools and Supplies --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/215946213-impresa-pottery-tools-and-ribs-2-pack-red-silicone-clay](https://www.desertcart.be/products/215946213-impresa-pottery-tools-and-ribs-2-pack-red-silicone-clay) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
