Bought these gloves as an alternative to use in the bakery. The bakers love them. Easy to clean. Only huge concern is safety. The little raised stars on the gloves provide excellent protection. Where there are none of those stars, watch out! Very easy to get burned through the gloves. Bakers are aware of the safety concerns, just wanting to send a message to the company that makes these gloves, that the edges of the gloves...need more stars for protection.Added on 6-30-17. Found the space between the thumb and pointer finger has torn on both gloves. Gloves were bought earlier this year.

We have purchased two sets of these bbq gloves and love them. The first set was for my husband, the second for me when I found how great they are. I had a pair of kevlar type ones previously but they always got dirty with sauce or meat juice and had to go in the washer with clothes. These gloves can be rinsed off or go in the dishwasher and you do not have to worry about steam from food permeating them. If you ever have a problem putting them on due to sweaty or damp hands, sprinkle some corn starch inside the glove or on your hands and they will slide on easily. We highly recomend these for smoker or bbq use as we have used for both applications.

They work great. I work in a kitchen and I love that the hoop comes in very handy to hang them off of my belt. Would give 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that you still have to be very careful you only touch hot surfaces with the little "stars" that protude off of them otherwise the heat will still hurt you through the thin silicone. They work great when reaching into hot water.

I looked at reviews of a lot of gloves before buying these. I've been using them for a couple of weeks. The fingers are long enough that I can actually grip items with them. Don't feel any heat through them when taking hot dishes out of the microwave and feel that I have complete control. The cuffs are long enough to protect my wrists but sometimes it is difficult to pull them over my shirt cuff. The big hang tabs on the cuffs of the gloves makes it easy to keep them in reach.

Thought these would stand up to heat better. Husband can barely carry a hot tray or food inside from the grill without his hands burning. Definitely not for holding hot items for a period of time. Somewhat disappointed.

They are fine if you have smurf fingers... =) Bought these to go along with my hubby's grill as Christmas gift but I'm not sure he is going to be able to use them. Very large in the palm areas, teeny tiny in the fingers; just odd... Lol. Not sure what to think until we start to "try" and use these alien things. Haha

When I first got these, I loved them. They are easy to use and gave a lot of protection from heat and burns. However, one of mine had a weak spot and when I picked up a piping hot dish, it burned me. After that experience, I was skeptical to use them again. Too bad. Almost perfect. Almost.

These are the best cooking gloves! I use them mainly for my oven.... They protect my hands and wrist better than any other gloves I’ve own.I would definitely recommend them!I was so happy with them, I got 2 more pairs!
