Blue Sparckle Chinchilla Dust 50lb

Our baby male chin loves his dust bath! It also helped him get use to us when we first brought him home because we knew he loved a good dust bath, the breeder said as soon as he smelled the bag opened he would come right to her, so we put a small amount on our hands to make him feel comfortable. Worked like a charm. After two interactions we no longer needed the dust. He still loves a good bath though!

Let me start by saying that I have had chinchillas for 15+ years and in that time I exclusively used Blue Cloud dust. Recently Blue Cloud closed its mine and therefore I’d no longer available. That being said, Blue Sparkle is the next best thing available. It doesn’t cut the fur or leave a residue. I think it is a little coarser than Blue Cloud, but gets the job done well. Blue Sparkle is now the #1 dust around. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a high quality dust. All 8 of my current chins love it too.

My chin loves it and I love it. Super awesome. You honestly get your moneys worth and it lasts a LONG TIME.I bought this in 2012 and it's lasted me two years. YOU SHOULD GET THIS!It's also great quality!! Sadly I guess they don't ship to Hawaii anymore so I gave them 4 stars.

A big ole' bag of Chinchilla dust for a more or less decent price. That shipping cost can't be beat though. Buy it from anywhere else and shipping 50 lbs will be more expensive than the usual $1-2 per lb for the dust itself. The dust itself is pretty awesome too, I hear it's one of the best. Be warned though, it's called Blue "SPARKLE" for a reason. Don't let your chinchilla run on your bed after a dustbath unless you like waking up all glittery.

Big was torn and had been retained. Product loss. Did not happen in transit because the shipping ctn was not damaged.

I absolutely love this. it seemed a bit high ordering it in bulk but so far i'm not even half way thru yet and i would have already had to pay this much just for that i've used. and i stilll have alot left
