Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity

The movie was delivered quickly and was as described. Classic 80's B movie. One of the greatest titles ever.

I love these old campy 1980's B movies for some reason!

This movie is the retelling of the suspenseful tale "The Most Dangerous Game" with a futuristic Sci-Fi setting. Given the low budget it was made with, it is amazing what level of quality was acheived. The movie has quite a number of settings: spaceship interiors, the villian's mansion, ruins, jungles, a beach, and others. Hence, the movie does not seem claustrophobic. The acting I found more than adequate. The heroines were not scripted to be bimbos, and have mostly meaningful conversations. Most low budget Sci-Fi films are dark. This one is actually upbeat, which I found refreshing.

Low budget but with lots of boobs.

This is nothing more than 'The Most Dangerous Game' meets the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on the set of 'Space 1999'. I expected high camp value out of a film with a title like this, and there is a degree of campiness present, but overall it is bland. The 'outer space' dialogue is often hilarious, and the acting itself is wooden and unsubtle, just like you would expect. This is almost literally an exact remake of 'The Most Dangerous Game', with a few added mutants and bickering androids for good measure. There is actually not much nudity, and what little bit there is not what you would call titillating. This should have been a more upbeat, fun camp classic, but it tried to be too many things. Notably the director attempts to make it genuinely scary and suspenseful during the hunting scenes, but given the silly nature of the material they are working with, the end product never seems to quite click as a movie. I have seen funny and campy sci-fi, which I like, and I have seen scary sci-fi, which I also like. Unfortunately this movie presses a little too hard to be both, and it comes up a bit short in the end.

First-class acting, script, locales, costuming, hair, makeup, good people, bad people. I hope I’ll live to see this future come to pass, when space pants aren’t optional but mandatory.

This film set the stage for home video rental. It is a well done serious spoof that maintains its integrity.

A cool movie to own. Nothing special, just plain fun. Also, I should add that there are no special features, for those interested.

Why am I giving 5 stars to what can charitably be described as rubbish? Because its awfulness had me in fits of laughter. Every cliche you can think of is somewhere here. Three busty reasonably pretty girls, with not too many brain cells between them, who triumph in various trials, including being hunted through a forest, yet never get dirty or suffer any damage to their hair or makeup. A formulaic villain, complete with monster servant. Sets which you might see in a school play. Appalling dialogue, with bursts of philosophical pseudo-babble about the purpose of life. Acting so bad that it would not merit a place in a third rate amateur production. And of course, the girls triumph over evil to give a happy ending. I couldn't recommend anyone to buy this, and I shall give mine to someone who will be equally amused. Objectively, one star is probably one too many, but I'm sure they did their best.

Dieser Film ist eine Homage an den Klassiker Graf Zaroff, hier wurde die Geschichte von der Insel auf einen Planeten verlegt, die Grundhandlung ist soweit vorhanden, jedoch geht es etwas brutaler als in der 1933 Originalfassung zu. Die Girls sind leicht in Lendenschurze gekleidet, später in transparente Bademäntel und oben Ohne sind sie auch zu sehen. Nun gut, die Tricks sind schlicht und einfach und trotzdem hat der Film einen eigenen Charme. Für mich, der mehr als 38 Jahre als Filmvorführer gearbeitet hat ein wunderbares Wiedersehn mit diesem B-Movie, der Anfang der 80er tatsächlich die Kassen klingeln ließ.

Un mix anni '80 tra fantascienza, azione, erotismo e thriller condito d'ironia. Niente di eccezionale ma godibile, principalmente grazie alle bellissime protagoniste. Edizione blu-ray di qualità. Solo per appassionati.
