I think quality control was off, cause it looked like only the bottom, top, and top half were glued, but not the bottom half so it just unraveled with little effort. I'm using some super glue to afix the rope to the bottom half - but I shouldnt have had to do this on day 1, little alone hour 1.Likely a manufacturing oversight..or at least I hope. Again, perfect size for a kitten - the main reason I bought it.5 star if it had made it at least a few months...but 2 stars for having to fix it on day 1. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Seems good, but my cat doesn't like it. *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 18, 2015* Seems like a decently made product, but my cat didn't like it. When i put the catnip on it (I believe it came with some), he rubbed on it for 30 seconds, then never touched it again. He prefers to scratch the cardboard scratch pads instead of the twine wrapping. I tried and he wouldn't bat the ball around at all. It did not interest him as much as the snake-wand style thing to chase, or the ball-in-a-track thing. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars smaller than expected and post does not seem very secure ... *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 12, 2016* smaller than expected and post does not seem very secure, my cat doesn't really care for it yet, even though I sprinkled catnip all over it... He'll only play with it if I help. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/21534913-cat-toys-plus-scratch-and-play-post-with-attached-ball](https://www.desertcart.be/products/21534913-cat-toys-plus-scratch-and-play-post-with-attached-ball) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
