When I received these gloves I was surprised at how large they were. The fit was like a men’s XL and as they were bulky I had difficulty manipulating things with them.After the initial fit test, I then tried out the heating feature on on the glove. The added weight of the 3 AA batteries was suprisingly unnoticeable (as the glove is already so bulky). The batteries are located on the top forearm.The heat takes 30s-1 minute warm up. It gets hot, but not at my fingers. The heat is centered at the mid palm of the hand. When I grasped something it felt warmer, like the element was more pressed up to my hand.I then took the glove apart see how it was made. There is a liner layer containing thick insulation. It has a single resistive heating loop at the palm of the hand (not at the individual fingers). This loop is sandwiched between an insulation layer and the liner which may indicate why it felt warmer when I held an object.The circuit is simple, with three AA batteries in series, an LED, and a single resistor. They also included a fuse as a safety. Note: if your glove stops working completely (even with new batteries) it may indicate the fuse has blown. I am unsure if they offer replacement battery pack/circuit housings but as this part is made to be disconnected, it may be able to be swapped out for a new one.Overall I think it is a decent glove for the price. It is well constructed and does get quite warm, but I wish they placed the heating element closer to the fingers.

Not that much dexterity with your fingers, and doesn’t heat up to fast. Decent gloves.

Gloves seem well made. Unfortunately, they don't heat to the fingers, where I need it most. Heat is mostly in the palm/back of hand. It helps to make a fist, even pulling your fingers out of glove fingers.

These work great except for they say one-size-fits-all or most and they don't fit . my hands are swimming in these things . my hands are not that small so it'd be nice if they could get a little better.

My friend has a condition that when her hands get cold, it just stings & burns. I bought these for her, & she loves them! It keeps her hands warm & helps keep them from getting painful in the cold

I bought these for my son since he works outside and he said they were the best gloves ever and all the guys he works with are jealous and going to buy a pair. I need to mention how fast the shipping was. Love everything about this purchase

Excellent. But a little smaller than expected but great otherwise.
