I like the durability of this item. It stands up well so it is easy to fill and doesn’t leak. The sliding closures are very tight which are somewhat difficult to open at times. I would recommend these storage bags.

While these bags are cheaper than Stasher bags, they are hard to close. They come with plastic pieces to use to close them. The plastic pieces do not go on easily. It was recommended to use some oil on the edge of the bags to make it easier to push the plastic piece on, but who wants to do this? Your fingers and the top of the bag get greasy. Once you get the plastic piece on so far, you can grab the loop on the left top of the bag to help you but I worry it stretches out the loop and could come off, then what? Trying to get the plastic piece off to open the bags are even worse. I cannot get them off. While these bags are of high quality, I would not buy them again because of the difficulty of closing & opening them. If they can improve the method of closing & opening them, I would consider buying them again.Update: 8/5/21After using them for six months, they smell funny and I could not get the smell out. I threw them away.

Just tried to open it to load it up with marinated drumsticks, and just breaks open from the front. The other ones seemed fine. Not sure if it will prevent freezer burn yet... I had burgers in the freezer in one of these for a few days. So who knows. I'll update if amazon lets me in 4 months or so.

The sliding closure is way to difficult to put on and take off. Also it is not easy to clean.

Two of the bags had the pleat on the bottom "fused" together. On the first time trying to clean the bags, the bag ripped where it was stuck together and wouldn't come apart. If I had left it alone food would have gotten stuck under the fold and gone moldy. Bummer.

2 out of my 5 bags have ripped within 3 months of use.

I'm looking forward to using these bags to prepare foods for the freezer and them to cook them at a later date in the same container. They are very sturdy.
