A strong metal housing and fairly heavy for it's size. It feels well built and puts out a bright light. This is my first experience with the lithium 123 batteries so I'm not sure how long they last. It's what I was expecting when I purchased.I have one complaint or caution. This is a tactical styled flashlight with the switch on the end. It's designed to grip in you fist with you thumb ready to push the switch on the end. I've had this kind of switch before and have not had a problem with them, but I find this switch very hard to operate. I can't get a good grip on the flashlight without using a lot of force and the switch is hard to push. It's a 2 stage switch, press softly the light comes on but you have to press hard to get it to stay on. When I do push hard the flashlight tends to slip through my hand. This requites both hands to effectively control the switch. As I have got older and have some problems with arthritis this is a bigger problem. Although most of the small flashlight have this configuration, I will be looking for a new one with the switch in a more conventional position.

Compact and very bright for the size, this is the perfect flashlight to clip onto my molle tactical vest. The price keeps fluctuating, but I was able to snag one for less than $10, which I think makes this a very good deal. Not sure if it is durable to survive a war or hard core beatings - but for my suburban needs, it is more than adequate. Has hi and lo settings - simple and intuitive.**UPDATE** I liked this flashlight so much that I bought another one, but the 2nd one came with a defective switch. I contacted the company via email and had a response within the hour. A few more emails back and forth - all of which were answered super fast by the company rep. and they had a new one shipped out that very day. Shipped via priority and had in my hands in 2 days. . So impressed with how they communicate so quickly and were so prompt and professional in rectifying the issue. Product is solid, but the customer service is incredible! Great product from a great company. Highly, highly recommended

Well built, all aluminium, intensely bright, equal to and or better than flashlights 2 or 3 times higher in price. Only drawback is that the alum tube is not 1" OD entire length between base and front housing, but this is only for people mounting flashlight to a rifle, which flashlight is not advertised or stated to be for, (this can be compensated for by making a small bushing) so no harm no foul. A very nice product - recommend05/30/18: just purchased / received another flashlight, love these things, this one is so I have a hand held, others I mounted to high power rifles which have had a few hundred rounds put through them, all still work, still bright. The CR123 batteries make them perfect as aiming lasers I use have same battery. Will likely buy more in future.

This heavy duty/durable flashlight has made a great addition to my home disaster kit. It uses CR123A Lithium Batteries (which are included) and in theory should last longer than traditional batteries (Will repost an update when I get a better idea on the time span). It produces a bright LED stream of light and is compact and easy to shove anywhere! The light is turned on by pushing a button on the bottom, and has a handy clip on the side for a pocket, pants or belt. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a low cost quality flashlight.

Flashlight was decent for EDC---for the two days that it worked. Gave no indication it was about to stop working, it just did. Unfortunately, I was leaving for vacation and by the time I got back it was too late to return it. Had it continued to work I'd say it was heading for a four-star rating---but it didn't so it's not. One star is all I can give it.--------------------9-18-2015 Last month I was contacted by the manufacturer and they offered to replace the flashlight free of charge (they also included batteries). I told them I would re-evaluate their product for a period of time and post my findings. Well, after using the light every day for the last 6 weeks I have not experienced any problem (and I'm not easy on flashlights). In fact, I now use this light as my every-day-carry light in my drop-leg bag---and I wouldn't do that if I didn't have faith in it. If it has a weakness, it's that the beam toggles between high and low when you turn the light on and off (i.e. I wish there was a way to make it so it always came on high or always came on low and I could toggle it up or down if I needed to). But that's a minor grievance. There are many good things about this light, with the bang-for-buck being at the top of the list. Definitely recommend it.

I pick up one of these every time I catch them on sale, usually around 10 bucks.These no frills lights have a high and low setting, easily cycled through the very positive tail switch. The aluminum housing is made well and holds up to my EDC usage. I carry and use this light every day with complete confidence.Do yourself a favor and pick one up, I believe you'll be as happy as I have been.

Fantastic little light. It's a bit larger than equivalent products from more popular companies, but at $10 I've ordered a few. The light is pretty white, but has several clearly visible concentric rings. It's about 1/4" longer than a Streamlight Protac 2L, but is wider. Mine came with two lithium CR123a batteries. This flashlight has all-metal construction and a very bright light. At this price, it's the best deal in flashlights.

I needed a flashlight that used CR123A batteries. (They are very popular for camera use--I needed one for a specialty smoke detector). The brightness of this flashlight is absolutely amazing. The CR123A batteries are the latest technology and have an extremely long shelf life and will last a long time in this light. If you need a super-bright flashlight that is small and portable, this is the one! I would recommend it to anyone.

Einerseits gibt es zu der Lampe nicht viel zu sagen, andererseits doch.Fangen wir mit "einerseits": Die Lampe tut genau was sie soll, nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Sie ist hell, massiv und sauber aufgebaut. Sie tut genau was sie soll (Leuchten auf zwei Helligkeitsstufen)."Andererseits" braucht es mehr Worte, denn es erschließt sich Preis/Leistung erst wirklich im Vergleich mit teureren Lampen: Sie ist nämlich was die Verarbeitung angeht, fast gleichauf mit den doppelt so teuren NiteCore oder TrueNite Taschenlampen. Guter Druckpunkt am Schalter, saubere Gewinde, Dichtungsring, usw. Lediglich die äußere Form ist ein bißchen weniger elegant und die Lampe insgesamt ein wenig größer. Leuchtbild (rundes Zentrum mit weitem Hof), Farbton des Lichts und Helligkeit entsprechen im Vergleich einer NiteCore mit ähnlicher Leistung. Und sie nervt nicht mit Leuchtmodi, die kein Mensch braucht (SOS, Stroboskop, Glühwürmchen), die man bei den teureren Lampen aber dauernd versehentlich aktiviert.Einziger Nachteil: Es ist kein Armbändchen dabei. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass dafür der Clip eingeschraubt und nicht nur angeklipst ist und weil Preis/Leistung eigentlich eher 6 Sterne sind, belasse ich die Bewertung auf voller Punktzahl.Fazit: Was der Hersteller in der Produktbeschreibung verspricht (Gutes Produkt durch Konzentration aufs Wesentlich zu vernünftigem Preis) sehe ich voll erfüllt. Nur wenn man auf ultrakompaktes Format, geringes Gewicht und weitere Leutchtmodi Wert legt, muß man zu doppelt so teuren Marken wie NiteCore, ThruNite, etc. greifen.

Ich konnte die Lampe für 10€ erstehen, für dieses Geld ist sie absolut ein Schnäppchen und ihr Geld wert. Daher bezieht sich die nach folgende Bewertung auch auf diesen Preis.Die Lampe ist ungeregelt das heißt die Leuchtstärke nimmt mit der Batteriespannung ab, was bei diesem Preis zu verschmerzen ist. Durch die CR 123 Batterien hält diese aber entsprechend lange und ist auch nicht kälteempfindlich, was für ein Einsatz als Notlampe im Auto über einige Jahre sehr wichtig ist. Dem Preis entsprechend ist der Clip sehr "einfach" gehalten, tut aber seinen Dienst. Ich habe ihn allerdings abgebaut.Die Ausleuchtung ist gut, es wird viel Licht nach vorne geworfen aber auch der Nahbereich wird gut ausgeleuchte. Lediglich der Übergang des Lichtkegels ist von nah auf fern ist nicht fließend sondern zeigt deutliche "Ringe" im Lichtbild. Nicht schlimm, aber auch nicht schön. Zum wechseln vom High- in den Low- Modus wird einfach das Licht ein-/ ausgeschaltet, die Lichtstufen wechseln sich dann ab.Wer eine günstige gute Lampe fürs Auto oder für den sporadischen Einsatz sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Sowohl Lichtausbeute, Verarbeitung und Funktion können überzeugen

Eine Super Lampe für knapp 20 € ....Sie hat 2 Funktionen,sehr hell und hell,was ich persönlich ideal finde....mehr braucht man nicht....Der Endkappenschalter ist gut zu erreichen und wir schon durch leichtes antippen lautlos aktiviert,ideal zur Wildbeobachtung oder zur schnellen Sicht in der nahen und weiteren Umgebung....Soll die Lampe dauerhaft leuchten,muss der Schalter fester gedrückt werden und man hört ein deutliches Klicken...Für mich der ideale Begleiter für Gassi,Outdoor,Jagd,Camping....Bei einem Kaufpreis bis max. 25€ alle fünf Sterne....

Tolle Taschenlampe. Gute Verarbeitung. Gewinde sind, wie bereits hier erwähnt, gut gemacht. Das findet man bei einem günstigen Preis leider nicht oft. Liegt gut in der Hand und hat das richtige Gewicht und Größe um sie an den Gürtel zu schnallen. Die Reichweite ist sehr gut, der Lichtkegel nicht zu groß. Die gedimmte Stufe schafft laut Hersteller 26 Stunden. Die nicht gedimmte Laufzeit liegt bei 2 Stunden 45 Minuten. Ich habe die Lampe jetzt seit ein paar Wochen und habe extrem viel damit rumgespielt, besonders im nicht gedimmter Funktion. Die mitgelieferten Batterien halten noch. Ich gehe also davon aus, dass die Angaben stimmen und die Batterien von guter Qualität ist. Alles in Allem ist die Lampe ein guter Begleiter in der Nacht und durch den IPX4-Schutz auch bei Regen.

I bought 1 hesitantly to see what it's like. Well after trying it i immediately bought 8 more for myself and to hand out as gifts. It takes the same batteries as a weapon light i have but it's more powerful. I got them at 5$ each. Just the batteries that are included are worth that lol.I use it mainly for walks through the forest when its pitch black, it's like having a mini sun in your hand.Trust me, for 5$, you'll love it.
