The Shizzle Original Jerk Seasoning Marinade, 14 oz

This stuff was so so good. So far I’ve made jerk pork / chicken / chicken wings. Will definitely buy again.

I normally make my own puree for jerk but this saved me so much time and flavor was just as good. I soak overnight chicken or pork with this and a little scotch bonnet and green onion and good to go!

it's pretty good considering I'm stuck living in the Midwest and we don't have Jerk Stands. I was just in Jamaica this winter and hope to go back as soon as possible. If you've been, you know that the jerk is outstanding. I wanted to eat it every day.The jar goes a long way, there was enough for two full grills full of chicken. Toss the chicken in a bag with the sauce, which is on the thicker side, and let is sit for a day in the fridge (give it a toss whenever you open the fridge). I also used smoke chips which made it even more authentic.

I LOVE THIS MARINADE!!!! It has a unique flavor that is so AWESOME! Have tried it on just about everything but love it on Chicken. Try it once and you will be addicted.

Not spicy enough. Sure it’s fragrant, but even after marinading some chicken thighs overnight and baking them in the oven, the flavor was lacking some heat and salt. On the second try I brushed some on the meat after seasoning the meat and making deep cuts in all the pieces to the bone. The next day I put the pieces on the grill and brushed fresh sauce on the pieces as they cooked. This approach seemed to do the trick. Way closer to authentic jerk chicken. Jerk meats are not just what you put on the meat but the way you prepare it as well.

Hands down my favorite jerk sauce and marinade. Cannot recommend this enough to everybody I know. Came across this in Whole Foods and then moved to Midwest where Amazon is only way to get it. Definitely a ride or die shizzlehead!

Worth every penny. Perfect for chicken on the grill.
