Flott Tuna in Olive Oil case pack 12

If you eat a lot of tuna buy this one. I think it is available for purchase as one can to try then purchase case. I prepare several cans at a time first draining off excess oil in a strainer then I put contents to a bowl adding a little lemon juice and if you like a VERY small amt of low fat mayo. That's it! So much better than albacore bumble bee etc.

The best tuna you can buy, the flavor & texture all fished from the waters the Mediterranean. Caught and packed in Sicily you won't regret buying this tuna! I have been buying this tuna for over 30 yrs.

Thought I was buying quality Italian Tuna. It is not, expense, low standard, never will buy again.

I love the As do Mar tuna but our local Italian store ran out, so I got Flott instead. I didn't like it. Instead of the nice large chunks of white meat, this was small bits and reddish. Mushy vs flaky. Passable but not terrific. I will go back to As do Mar if I have to order it from Portugal. Or go there.

Flot is a great tuna, but the distributors handled the product and packaging terribly. Twenty four cans were jammed into a flimsy small box with a handful of Styrofoam peanuts. Many of the cans were damaged and dented, two were broken open and leaked oil and tuna into the package. It was a complete mess, oil all over the place and staining everything. I will never go back to these people again, it was a disgrace.
