LithoLyteTea Enhancer 10 mEq (60 Sticks)

My doctor said to use this instead of the expensive and huge Rx potassium citrate pills that I was taking. It is exactly what you need for frequent stones. The LithoLyte company has great customer service - like excellent. For people that are on a low oxalate diet this is great because it lets you have a higher oxalate food (tea) because of some medical thing I don’t know much about. It’s worth a shot if you have calcium oxalate stones - not sure about others you’d have to ask.

easy to use to lessen the chance that your body will make new stones. My dr said it was working as I have no new stones since last visit.

Why should this just be for tea? what about coffee or a cold drink? Litholyte is pricey & is to help your health-to possibly prevent kidney stones. It should be used in all drinks --not limited . Poor business move!

Helped me break down some stones to pass them. I use now to prevent stones. It isn't tasteless, but is tolerable

The order arrived very quickly! My husband was excited to try it in his tea and later when asked whether he noticed it, he said, "Oh, I totally forgot you put that in there. I didn't notice any difference." It is an easy product to take and hoping that using as his doctor directed will prevent kidney stones.

I really wanted to like this product, as I have had many kidney stones, all of which are apparently the result of low citrate levels leading to oxalate formation, and I had some abdominal pain with citrate pills. Unfortunately, although the taste of this was very manageable (I tried both the water version and the tea version), the effect on my GI tract (abdominal cramps and super soft stools) was not. I tried spacing the intake over several hours, but that was less convenient, and still resulted in some cramps.

I noticed after a week of taking this, I lost track of how many kidney stones I've passed without much pain.
