Serious lack of information about units compatibility :(
There is a serious lack of information for people just getting into DMR apparently this unit the DV mega dual band the way it is sent is not compatible must be physically modified and contain firmware version 3.07 in order to work with DMR. When viewing questions and comments it is discussed that they have used it for DMR with no problem I have found this to be very very frustrating unlike what I think the ham community should be. I believe they should provide more accurate information on this product so as not to drive people crazy.

Worked for D-Star. Firmware was at incorrect level to work with DMR network. It needed to be at 3.07 to work with DMR network.

My board is not compatible with current software. It turns out that the firmware loaded into the card is V2.2.9 Japanese only. Now I have to struggle with getting new compatible firmware. As of 11/17 the board is not working with Raspberry Pi3 or Bluestack.
