Happy Happy Joy Joy
I needed dies to form/load 41 Swiss Vetterli. Lee Precision makes affordable obsolete caliber dies so they were no brainers. Reading other reviews I expected to have to alter the seat/crimp die to use .429 diam. Bullet. Nope. Die set worked fine without overworking brass and seated bullets to 2.200”. Sure wish they had the right shell holder. But any other brand wouldn’t give you one anyway. Good price.

Good dies, wrong shell holder
I'm very glad that Lee produces dies for this outmoded cartridge, it will allow me to get my Vetterli up and running for the first time in almost a century. The die set comes in Lee's normal 3-die case, so I'll have room to keep a .44-40 WCF crimp die with it, which should be able to crimp the .41 swiss with some modification. However, as other reviewers have stated, the shell holder included with this set in the wrong one. It looks to be about the right size for .45-70, maybe 0.010" too narrow for .41 swiss.I bought a Hornady #25 shell holder from this link:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PD1XT4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Which loosely fits my .41 Swiss cases, made from PPU 8mm Lebel brass.

Quality Lee is known for
These dies are the usual quality Lee is known for. The only odd thing is that unlike the many other Lee dies i have, these dies dont come with load data. Possibly because there are no SAAMI standards fo 41 Swiss?

Kinda Stuck
Your kinda stuck with these if you want to reload the Vetterli, more expensive are available but alot more expensive. The bullet seater is not threaded long enough to seat the bullet, the sizing is way off. You can crimp with it.

Doesn't fit 8mm Lebel formed cases
The supplied shell holder doesn't fit 8mm Lebel (PPU Brass). Seems like a huge oversight because the most used case to form .41 Swiss centerfire is 8mm Lebel brass. If you are using this to load the Buffalo arms or the Ammunition Artifacts preformed cases, you will need to purchase another shell holder.

Well Made, Reasonably priced and Works Well For My Needs
Works well for my needs. I use a .428" 200 Grain RNFP Hand Cast Bullets 20-1 SPG with this die set and it works very well. I have read that larger diameter bullets may not fit well when seating, but do some research online to read what size bullets will fit through this dies set, and what will not. The Swiss Vetterli is known to have varying groove diameters, therefore the variance in bullet diameters used in this antique firearm.

A very good die set
A very good die set. I use to form and reload cases for a Swiss Vetterli. I have also used the dies to form cases for 43 Beaumont by leaving the sizing die a third a way out of the press. The dies have a wide base and push the shoulder low. I haven’t tried other calibers yet but I imagine they would work well for case forming a number of 11mm cartridges. So far a very useful set.

Buy the Lee complete dipper set.
Understand this. The yellow dipper spoon shown on their pic does not come with this item as its sold here. Just so you know. A nice complete set of Lee Brand powder dippers is available on Amazon for around 17.95 here. Order it. I did. Legacy items are great to have.

Three Stars
There was no load data that I've come to expect from Lee. Disappointing. Very disappointing.
