I would add a Amp that pushes 800 watts for 2 speakers. 400 watts each. That way you get the most out of the speakers and don't risk blowing them **Q: My driver side front speaker is going out in my 2001 dodge Dakota will this work as a replacement?** A: The speakers are able to fit most EOM locations **Q: I have a 2009 Pontiac g6 gt will this fit my car?** A: Nathan - As best as I can tell, there are no fancy or strange things about the speakers in your Pontiac G-6. Any 6.5" speakers should fit right in on the front door panels, In the rear, any 6X9" should drop right in with little or no mods. I have done several replacements on GM products and the real trick is to try to save the plastic bezels that hold the original speakers in place. The are usually connected by small plastic tabs which can be removed easily with a small standard screwdriver, Just pry up the largest connector you see and the speaker should pop right out. Separate the plastic bezel from the old speakers (usually the cone is rotten and they will drop right off the original speakers). Clean them up with a bit of moderate sandpaper (#100 to #120) and they should clip the new speakers right in place. It will require a little thinking on your part, but believe me, its not difficult to do.As for the Pyle speakers, I've bought and installed several sets and had great success both in power handling and overall sound (better than stock). Their price makes them especially attractive (through amazon). I think it's a project a typical "shade tree mechanic" can easily do with great success. Good luck! Any problems - J.
