As a trick to get those smooth seams - when you heat the seams - I pressed the seam side down on a wooden cutting board (I've see tables used, etc) but while it's still very warm and it will make a smooth seam and it will be professional looking. This is really important on the corners. When you get to a corner, heat shrink and then bend the corner down onto the side (don't leave it just standing up) and you get the smooth finish. You can see from the photos I used it on a large array of items. You do need to seal around the shape (such as the heart), these bags, like all shrink bags only shrink a certain percentage. These bags are also very easy to open and use the product.

**Q: is this food grade?**
A: These particular ones, I'm not sure what Food Grade means, but these are a stiff plastic once they are heated.
Hard edges on the heated/treated side. Probably keep something very water proof.... I use these for containing small
decals I print to prevent stuff happening in shipping. Better than rubber bands if a box opens up en route. Hope this helps.

**Q: What size should I buy to wrap 7x9 inch gift baskets?**
A: Not really sure.. think I would use the shrink bags made for baskets.. they are much better sure to larger bottoms. These bags are pretty flat.

**Q: Looking for a way to protect my phone from dirt while trail riding.  Will a touchscreen on a phone/tablet work if heatshrinked in this material?**
A: I'm sure your touch screen would work, but you may want to think about the heat for the heat gun

**Q: Do these have both the sides open or just 1 side?**
A: Just one side is open.
