BakeLux 16-Inch Piping Bags (3 Pack) - Commercial Grade Reusable Cotton Icing Pastry Bags

I've used these bags for various decorating needs and love how easy to use and clean they are. Today I was trying to pipe almond cookies and the batter was rather stiff (more like a hard paste) and I had to use a lot of strength/force to get the batter thru the piping piece (that was the fault of the batter, not the bag). I was afraid the bag would rip but it didn't! It held up great. I try to minimize my use of anything one-time use and disposable, so I love that these are reusable and they seem to get softer with use/washing. I highly recommend them.

There are 3 things I found useful and reliable about the Bakelux piping bag:1. When I am piping buttercream, the oil from the butter does not leach even when piping forcibly; unlike my other piping bags. Being an expat here in Dubai coupled with having hot hands, this feature is an advantage.2. The first 4" from the tip is reinforced. This is particularly a reliable feature (for myself) because I am using a lot of Keiser brand piping tips which has a relatively sharp edge (a feature of Keiser tips so it will fit snugly in their couplers) which cut my Keiser piping bags. I realized it gets cut because I sometimes freeze piping bags still with the tip and buttercream inside when I get lazy. So when that frozen piping bag accidentally drops on the floor the edge from the tip can rip the bag.3. Relatively easy to clean! Since the ends are reinforced, I had a hard time inverting the bag at first. BUT the second time I used and cleaned it I was able to invert it. Just be patient.On a note, I emailed them for some help and they are very prompt with replying, assisting and reassuring. I would say that their aftersales is up there.

The BakeLux 16-inch piping bag has a nice stiffness to its construction so it won't collapse on itself when you are filling it with icing. The walls of the bag are thick and well-made. The inside surface is a nice slick plastic. I like to use a reusable bag so I don't end up with a pile of discards

I've had many reusable pastry bags in my day, and these are my favorites, by far. They're really durable, and they're lined with silicone, so they clean up incredibly easily- they can even go in the dishwasher. And, while it seems like a small detail, the hanging loop is genius. Anything that allows me to hang something on the wall instead of having to find room in my drawers/cart/countertop is a win in my book. Really fantastic product!

Actually didn't read the description of the product properly before purchasing so to my suprise they were fabric bags with a plastic lining, where I thought I purchased simply silicone bags. At first I was a bit upset but decided to give them a whirl...best decision ever. I love these bags. They make piping so much easier with their large capacity and easy to grip fabric outer lining. Coupled with disposable piping bags it makes it so much easier to get multi coloured designs while not having to waste frosting as I can simply interchange the colours inside my Bakelux bag. The bag is also very durable as I've used it over a month now and haven't seen much wear and tear at the seams or the tip. As it is fabric on the outside it is a little bit more tricky to get out grease/colour but that pales in comparison to the strength and grip the fabric provides. Overall great buy!

I had an icing bag similar to this that I had for years but finally gave up the ghost. I wanted to buy another one like it. Was I ever glad these came as a set of three! They are much bigger than what I used to have. The coating on the inside is exactly what I need - it'll keep the bag from getting too wet. The tip is reinforced which will keep that edge from fraying over time because of the constant putting on and taking off of the coupler - this is brilliant! I washed the bags in hot, soapy water when I first got them, and then washed them again as per instructions and they are fine.I am very happy with these icing bags and think I will have them for a very long time.

I was very impressed with this product! It was extremely durable and SO easy to clean! I didn’t really need to do any wiping at all-just a little hot water and almost no soap and all the icing was gone. It did take some work getting my coupler pulled out because of a thin, cardboard-like reinforcement at the tip, but I think with more use and over time that will loosen up. The cotton material on the outside provided a lot of grip for easy control and the material is thick enough the icing is more protected from the heat of your hand. Like all reusable bags, expect there to be a little bit of staining from food colorings (particularly dark ones) but it still washed very easily and it dried quickly (something I didn’t expect from a cloth bag).

I got three and have been using them for only five times. One got ripped open while piping and I had to change to a second bag. Second one was spilling near the nozzle too. So dissapointed!!!=========Immediately after Amazon did a refund for my bags, the cofounder, Elizabeth, emailed me to find out what the problem was even though it was on the weekend. She sent out replacement the next day.I love how the company always stand behind their products. That's how all business should be because it gives the customer peace of mind while buying and trying their products.I can't praise enough about their courtesy!! Yes, I'd buy their icing bags again if I need more in the future ... not just on how the bags perform but also to keep an honest company like Bakelux growing and prosper!!!

These are easy to use, easy to clean and easy to hang to dry. The tip is small but rather to small than too big. I cut it to fit my coupler and I use it constantly. Heavy duty material makes it easy to hold on you and doesn’t slip from my hands. I recommend this product.

I’be been using disposable bags all this time and this is my first time using other than disposable. Maybe I need to get the hang of it but the bag itself wasnt as light and on the tip area, there’s extra layer for sturdiness but that was actually bothersome. I usually twist and fold in the bag in the tip area to prevent icing from dropping out when filling the bag but I couldnt do that with the hardened tip area on these bags. Felt it was quite stiff to use.I didnt use the coupler, just dropped in my large tip and the tip wouldnt stay in.It was just so uncomfortable to use on my first time.It was easy to clean though. I guess I have to use more to get the hang of it but the first two time wasn’t so pleasant.

I am definitely an amateur baker but there's no way anyone can pipe well with those disposable piping bags. These bags change that! I love that they are durable and reusable.

I am usually covered in batter when I use a thin piping bag....I like to make mini bunt cakes and was looking for a sturdy piping bag. I am so glad I purchased these bags...they are sturdy, large and easy to fill. I was finally able to pipe 24 mini cakes with one fill of the bag....Great product for bakers!!!

I had been using disposable bags and silicone bags but found it very difficult to maintain an even pressure. These bags are very well made and the stiff canvas allows much more control and allows even pressure and immediate stop/start for more consistent decorations. Love using them !!!

I love these bags...there are very durable and inside the bag is very easy to clean. I also love the size but the outside is difficult to clean as stains are difficult to get out. However, it is a very good bag.

Nice quality bag , should hold up nicely. Easy to clean and have used it often, will be back as necessary.
