I used just a little over 3 cans to paint my car's rims. I wouldn't recommend using anything to speed up the drying process as I tried to apply some heat the first go around and it caused a reaction that changed the color of the paint to a hazy white version of purple and I had to repaint. It dries on it's own very quickly a great selling point. The finish dries as a Matte or satin. I personally rather have a gloss so I used a clear gloss protectant as my top coat. That of course is only my preference and it's not to say anything negative about the finish. All in all I absolutely adore the color of this paint, and wish it was available more in stores so I don't have to wait.
