muffler Remove and install
It was a perfect fit, easy to install. It was about an inch and a half long which is what I needed to make it fit, after cutting out the old one.

Direct Fit and Quiet
I bought a used 2010 Grand Cherokee on the cheap and the original muffler was long gone. I picked up this muffler for a fix, cut off the old one and this was a direct fit and quiet. I would highly recommend this muffler as a replacement for your blown out one.

2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7
- Shipping was spot on with next day.- The fit was close. Over all it was about 3” shorter than the stock unit I removed. Hence the one star removed.- After install and first start I was happy. The unit was quiet again! The last one had a small hole in it. After running to the store I found that this muffler is quieter than when I bought my Jeep.Through the side was a bit off from stock I am 100% happy with the purchase.

Fits perfectly on 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7
Installation tips: Additional items needed are two nuts and bolts for the front of the muffler and a 2.5" exhaust pipe clamp. The OEM final exhaust pipe is welded to the old muffler. If keeping it, cut it off close to the muffler. Then unbolt the muffler at the other end. Bolts may snap off but that is OK, they are not needed. The muffler may drop fast so look out. Slide off the rubber hanger that is next to where you cut the exhaust pipe, then slide the new muffler over the pipe. Reconnect the rubber hanger as you raise the muffler into position. Bolt front of muffler with new nuts and bolts. Place the 2.5" exhaust pipe clamp over the rear end of the muffler. Before tightening, make sure the rear pipe does not hit anything, such as the rear axle by rotating it. After tightening the clamp you are done!

Sort of fit. 4" short
I was able to weld in a 2 3/4" coupler to make it work, but if you do not have access to a welder. You will need to take it to a shop.Installed on a 2009 Commander 4WD 4.7l
