This converter survived a wild summer spanning three different continents and definitely pulled its weight - I ended up using all of the different prong settings and never had a problem. I love this little guy, and it found a permanent place in my purse over the summer. It looks very sleek and functional - as opposed to bulky like the majority of the past converters I've tried. The travel pouch is a nice touch to keep it protected from any liquids that might spill around it. I really like the detachable USB piece, though it's a bit annoying you can't charge USB and use the regular input at the same time. My only complaint is that now the switches tend to stick, probably from overuse, and I'm always afraid I'm going to snap something when I have to wrestle them free. Nevertheless, it's a great purchase for any traveler that wants to keep a reliable converter close at hand during their journeys!

Four stars for a good customer service..though i was not really happy with the item i paid for..i made a review about it (I received the package on time and was very happy and pleased with it until today.exactely a month and few days of use the adapter just burnt up.(was charging my phone and the light on top started blinking as i removed it from the socket i could smell a kind of burning stuff).) and got a refund.

Very easy to use, comes with case and instructions (don't really need it, but who knows), the USB section lights up nicely when plugged. The only complaint (aesthetic/design) I may have is that the plug (the two pieces) is not aligned in the centre if you flip (180º) the USB section (see photo) - this problem was only issued when I was in the UK when some of the hotel plugs were too low for my USB plugs, so I had to flip the USB section in order to charge. Used all the switches, and they work great. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a simple/techy/cool travel adaptor.

I bought this for an international trip to Asia. While the product does what it is intended for, it has some serious design flaws.Pros:Compact form factor.Looks stylish and elegant.Comes with a nice bag.The USB ports are a bonus.Bluish USB lights can act as a night lamp.ConsPoor functional design. I didn't get how to use this product until I flipped through the manual. Only then it struck me that I had to use the little button on the side to open/close the plugs.It has 3 region settings. It didn't automatically strike me to use Europe when I was in India.Finally, the real reason I am being harsh on this product is because the plugs bent due to the weight of my laptop power adapter. Once they got bent, it was really difficult to fully close them.

This is certainly one of the best universal travel adapters that I have ever used. It is quite sturdy and doesn't fall apart after a couple of uses, like many of the others that I purchased in the past. It is also compact and comes with a very nice and premium-looking carrying case. I didn't think that I would find any use for the night light that is built-in to the USB adapter but it turned out to be quite handy on a couple of occasions, and it also doubled as tester to check if it is plugged into a working socket.

I ordered this for a trip to Europe. Used it in a B&B in London, on a Disney cruise ship, and at our hotel in Denmark - all of which used different outlet types. It is small and lightweight (fits in the palm of your hand). It worked perfectly with curling iron, phone chargers, etc. Has two USB ports for simultaneous charging. The top piece also acts as a nightlight, which was a bonus, but it is very bright, so consider that if you plan to charge things close to your bed at night. Love it!

The converter worked perfectly in Argentina and it was easy to change country settings. I used it for 2 weeks and it held up just fine. Two things to note: 1. The dual USB charging unit illuminates blue when it is plugged in-- it is bright enough to serve as a nightlight; 2. The plug-in is not available when the USB charging unit is in place so it is either a USB charging unit or an adapter plug-in at one given time.

The idea is good, other travel adapters have the exact same options for the input. I chose this adapter because it also had USB inputs, downside that you can either only use USB or a regular power plug and not both combined.During the first usage charging my phone ( Nexus 5x ) via USB I heard a noise coming from the adapter. I was in Europe for a business trip, they are using 220V. I unplugged it, checked the adapter and plugged it back in. The noise was still there but I was hoping that it was ok. 30 minutes in I woke up from a "pop" sound followed by an minor explosion. The USB part is gone and it smelled like burned plastic while the rest of the adapter is still working but also useless, since the USB option was the plus vs. other adapters. I could have got more for less, if buying cheap adapters and robust hubs supporting USB and power plugs.
