Venture 4th Foldable Collapsible And Windproof Travel Umbrella for Compact Carrying and High Durability (Blue)

When this arrived it seemed of very nice quality and worked very well. Sturdy, extended and retracted as described. This is one of two I purchased for my wife and I (this same review will be posted for the other one as well) and now, neither work. Press the button, it kind of extends, but the umbrella doesn't open. If you try to reset, it feels like I'll break it. Excellent concept that, when it worked, was great. But it didn't last, even after normal use. I would maybe try another one, but would expect for the price we paid for this, it would've lasted longer. A little disappointed overall.

This is my third one of these. They are the sturdiest small umbrella I have found. The autoclose feature is great except that the spring to push the handled back in is a little too strong to easily close. It might be good if there were multiple ratchets on this mechanism to make it easier to close especially for older individuals.

Great product. The umbrella had a slight kink when I first got it -- the canopy part didn't quite extend the full way. After opening and closing it a couple times, I haven't had the problem since. Personally, I like the size of the umbrella because it is slightly bigger than the normal, compact size. It's exactly a foot long when closed up; good size for traveling. Lastly, venture 4th has fantastic customer service.

I was happy with this item initially. However, after just a couple of uses, the opening/closing mechanism failed. It was VERY difficult to telescope the handle in after collapsing it, and then when I pushed the button to open it the next time, the handle would extend, but the canopy of the umbrella would not lock open. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement, but I experienced the exact same issue after only 2 uses. WHEN it worked, it was great in the wind/rain. But overall, it ended up being useless.

Apart from being a good value, this umbrella arrived quickly, was well packed. It is compact enough to fit easily into my backpack. The blue color makes it easy to spot against all the darker items inside. It is light weight, so you can keep it handy for those sudden pop-up showers. Tis appears to be well made and durable, though I haven't had it long enough yet to be sure.

Looks nice, good size, and has worked well so far. A little to difficult to close.

Looks great and works well. I'll let you after I use it about 20 times. Seems Jud a tad fragile.

I like the umbrella because it opens easily. But this is the hardest umbrella to close that I have ever had
