Simplicity Hands Free Pumping Bra Kit -Blue

I never right reviewed but This product deserves a much better review average!!! It worked REALLY well for me. I had approx a full B to a small C cup bra size while breast feeding, and typically pumped 1.5-2oz each side each time (more sometimes if engorged- near 4oz). It held the flanges/bottles up no matter how much milk was in each bottle; the weight of the milk did NOT pull the flanges down so much to where suction was lost . With more milk in bottles I would on occasion tighten the neck straps to lift/“perk” up the flanges/bottles to keep suction, which is a super quick n easy adjustment. Sometimes, instead of tightening the neck straps, I would sit straight up - the better posture naturally tighten the straps around the neck.It was a life saver when I went back to work!!! I was able to consistently pump 2 (sometime 3) a day in a 8-hr shift with ease, without needing to wear those awkward bandeau bras all day (or put it on each time - I imagine that would be cumbersome). I wear my comfy nursing bras, and wearing these straps was a breeze each time (I advise getting the 2-color straps to easily identify which straps go around your neck - I don’t recommend the all black straps), because the neck strap is already set from the last use, then waist strap is a quick clip and done.The “challenge” (not really IMO) for some people may be fitting the flanges in between the loops and to your nipples. Some reviews mentioned the adjustable knobs get in the way of seeing where you nipple is within the flanges. This is how you avoid the problem (once you have the straps on your body): 1) make sure the neck straps are on snuggly while sitting in your normal/comfortable posture (not while hunched back and looking down on your straps or instructions lol). If that makes the 2 front flanges straps too tight on the breast, simply hunch your back down a bit so your posture would naturally loosen the 2 front straps 2) raise the adjustable knobs for the flanges way up so that the loops are big 3) insert the flanges through the loops and fit it to your nipple to your liking (make sure there’s a dab of lubricant/oil - I used sweet almond oil - inside the flanges to prevent nipple chaffing; I found that it also promoted better suction and therefore more optimal milk extraction) 4) hold the flanges in place with one hand while the other hand pulls the knob back down to cinch the flanges in place. 5) return to you normal/comfortable posture. You can also readjust your neck straps to your comfort anytime during pumping as needed (rarely necessary for me).These steps only took SECONDS to do. With this method, I never had ANY functional issues with it. It helped me stretch breast feeding till my son was 14-15 months old.I did need to replace my strap once near the end of my bumping phase because one of the grommets came out. Honestly it would not have affected the function (the grommets helps the straps glide more smoothly) but I wanted a different color strap anyway to I replaced it.IMO, perhaps this product doesnt work as well for large breasted women or those who pump out way more then average amount of milk?? For me, this was exactly what I needed. I LOVE this product for how simple, compact, and effective it is!! My friend recommended this to me from the get-go and I am so grateful. I recommend this to ALL my new mom friends!!

It works but is uncomfortable. The metal rings pinched the bottom of my breast and the shoe lace going over the neck provided no support so it hurt my neck too. Seemed more like a prototype than a finished product. I can't use it because it's just too uncomfortable.

This hands-free pumping bra has served me pretty well over the last few months. It does allow access for compression, which is the biggest plus (along with the little advice pamphlet they included with it about pumping, which was all new and useful info to me!). I find that I can't use it and keep any of my clothes/nursing bra on though, because the flanges won't form a seal and I have to keep resizing it. It's also not the most comfortable of clothing items... the metal of the clasp is really cold and can pinch, and I can't really seem to get the sizing right to where I don't have to adjust the neck strap every time (I guess because there are different levels of fullness throughout the day?). I often end up cursing at it and the flanges if I try to move around and they stop forming a seal. I assume most pumping bras are like that though?? It is easy to pack up and take with me to work, though, it was cheap, and it does do the functions that it should. It also looks a little silly if you are going to be walking around your house with it on, FYI. But my husband doesn't judge me, haha.

This is honestly the most simple but most helpful thing I own. I recently went back to work and although I try not to do paperwork while I pump, I want to eat a yogurt or scratch my nose occasionally. I was looking into the "sports bar with the holes in them" pumping bra's and I just couldn't get myself to pay the money for them. This thing works wonderfully, it holds the suction cups onto my breast well- I do use my hands to add compression at the end since it isn't a very tight hold- but otherwise it does its job. And the nice thing is that its easy to roll up and put in my pump bag.

Very clear instructions on how to use and helpful general tips for effective pumping; however, towards end of pumping strings will become weighed down and you spend most of your time re-adjusting/juggling the bottles and falling flanges that you can’t massage/effectively pump. Neat idea, bad execution
