Philips BT3105/15 Cordless Beard Trimmer (Black and Blue)

Was using an Havells before and was searching for a device with recharging facility. This is a perfect choice and once fully charged goes on to work easily for more than 8-9 beard trims if used weekly without charging again.The blades are sharp and the precision of the comb is quite even.Great Product by Philips

Decent trimmer from Philips. Incredibly noisy.. It's the noisiest one I've used on my life. You're family would definitely know that this thing is on no matter where you are in the house. Other than that it is easy to use and clean with the blade setup coming apart easily to get a thorough clean once you're done.The blades themselves are not that great. The lift and cut gimmick is just a futile marketing attempt, don't buy this for what Philips says. I found them to not get a clean cut on one pass and I needed atleast two passes from opposite directions to get a proper trim.The battery is quite good and this trimmer has the added advantage of working in corded mode as well in case of urgencies. I didn't test if it works for the advertised 45 mins but I'm able to get 3 to 4 trims done for my usage - totalling around 35 mins.

Pros: Batter life, performance, build quality.Cons: Adjusting point is not that much accurate. in my old trimmer i used to set point at 4 and it gives neat look. in this the point 4 makes like stubble beard.

Was using Philips QT4005 since 2014. But this one is definitely an upgrade as it -- has better battery backup- doesn't take ten hours to fully charge (2 hrs)- is faster as it lifts up the beard makes it easier to trim- comb attachment is stronger- indicates when the battery is full/low Not to mention the built quality and precision it provides.

Power button once it is ON again it never OFFand some time automatically Power button start...

Writing this review after 2-3 usage, the trimmer is really smooth, battery life is good and it is seems to be good purchase at this price range (Rs: 1,500).
