The DBX Driverack RTA Condenser Microphone is a omni-directional, flat frequency, measurement microphone designed for use with DBX's Driverack systems. The Driverack RTA microphone lets you Pink and optimize the EQ settings of any room through the use of the Auto EQ in the Driverack Wizard setup assistant. Even though the Driverack RTA Condenser Microphone is designed to be used with the Driverack systems, this is still a condenser microphone and works great on acoustic guitars, pianos, drums or just as a room microphone.

**Q: does it come with a case? how big is it?**
A: The Mic itself is about 7" long and it comes in a padded case about 12" long, 11" wide and 3.5" thick. Case measurements aren't exact since I don't have the case in front of me, but they're pretty close.

**Q: Can use use any other mic to do the same thing for the drive rack pa2?**
A: I would not ,This mic Is calibrated to be used with there units and works great for the price

**Q: Can this be used with a behringer x32 as an rta mic for room eq?**
A: I've not used the behrinher product, but if you have xlr inputs, I'm unaware of any incompatibilities. I can with confidence that this mic is built just precisely for such. i used it with Room EQ Wizard https://www.roomeqwizard.com to acquire some valuable info for better dampening in the studios where I worked at the time.

A: Yes, mine came with the case and clip.  It is an oddball size chip.. If you don't get the factory clipYou need a spring type clip

We don't use the DriveRack system (yet) in our church, but I did recently purchase an Ashley 31-band EQ and need to tune the room. I grabbed one of the RTA apps for iPad out there and ordered the Focusrite iTrack Solo in order to use this mic for measurement. Great setup to get the job done easily. It's important to use a USB interface and nor run the pink noise through a mic plugged into the audio jack on the iPad because Apple has filters in the audio circuitry that do make music sound great, but I didn't want that coloring the dbx mic's input signal. For 65 bucks, this dbx mic works as well as needed to bring the room under control and not spend buckets of cash (we have a piano, singers and sermons, this rig does more than necessary to make our room sound good). The mic will now have a new permanent job, sitting at FOH to capture omni sound of the congregation singing during hymns, which will get mixed into the streaming audio for online broadcast. For the price this mic is more than worth it. It did come with the mic clip and the overly huge padded case for 65 bucks, huge blessing. Recommended!
