I do not see any information on the type of charging device, is it a wall plug?

There is a wall plug with a cord and DC adapter type jack that inserts in and out of the vacuum itself. I leave the plug in the wall and when finished insert the adapter to charge.

Do I need to buy a battery charger or does the vac plug in which charges the attached battery? I saw something about an adapter. Am confused.

This model comes with rechargeable batteries already installed and a charging cord. Every thing is included just charge it up and vacuum.

Must buy for pet owners

This product is absolutely brilliant and perfect for pet owners. It works seamlessly on our couches, beds and in corners. Good thing is that the voltage range of this device is from 110v to 220v with appropriate frequency so it works and charges perfectly in India. A great product, with quality build. Must buy for pet owners . My golden retriever sheds a lot so it is bliss. I don't have to waste money on lint removers etc.
