My cat loves it and it does a great job!
It is the best brush I have tried both in terms of efficiency and in terms of acceptance - and I have tried them all, combs and brushes, from the simplest to the most sophisticated and expensive ones. My 4 year old cat is Siberian, so she needs only the occasional grooming, but she won't take it easily (hence all the tries...). But when shedding, (and she mainly sheds the third undercoat that looks and feels like cotton wool) she does need daily grooming, mainly to protect her from swallowing the hair and to keep it out of our way. It is the only brush she has really accepted, and with pleasure. The brush does an excellent job of removing loose fur, and it is extremely easy to clean. The only thing that would make it THE perfect brush for cats is the size. I would rather have it a bit smaller to make it easier to comb through my cat's belly. Still, I can manage. I strongly recommend it!

Highly recommend for mid-long haired cats!
This only just arrived and I used immediately! Used on my long haired cat Merlin- first time I’ve bought anything like this for him and he rolled over on to his back and purred the entire time! So it’s clearly comfortable and feels good to him. Got out a couple of knots that I didn’t even know were there, and he didn’t complain once. His tail is ridiculously bushy so I did wonder how much he’d tolerate but had my son not got out the laser toy, I’m pretty sure he’d have lay for hours being pampered!Even let my two sons brush him, I can’t wait to see what his brother cat (Batman) makes of it later, although he’s shorter hair than Merlin. Pretty confident that this will be a routine we quickly get into doing regularly.Overall very happy with purchase, the button to take the hair off is an excellent feature I have to say. Makes life much easier.Would very highly recommend to anyone wondering if their cats will tolerate it.My two are pretty bomb proof due to having young kids, but it was a very enjoyable experience all round.

Good for moulting hair.
I have a chocolate lab and just before she start to shed hair she is just so fluffy. Her hair comes out it bits and peaces, with hair all over the place. This brush got so much hair off her it was perfect. I goes right down to the skin, not just the top coat. I like the easy clean but after once use the top far left and right teeth have slightly bent, but it is still useable. So one less fluffy dog.

Don't use too much oomph to clean off the hair.
I have 3 golden retriever dogs which require a lot of grooming. I bought this to replace a similar brush which was 5 years old.It is easy to clean, by pushing the knob on the back it slides the pad up pushing the accumulated hair off the wire prongs.Unfortunately this brush has suffered the same fate as my old brush in a matter of weeks rather than years. That is, the pad that slides up can slide past the ends of the prongs allowing them to break free of their slots. When the pad is released the prongs are crushed as it springs back. Once the prongs are bent it is nigh on impossible to get them back in their proper slots and to work properly. The only remedy is to pull the damaged prongs out with pliers. My old brush had a stop mechanism to prevent this from happening, until the stop mechanism broke, and the prongs came out and got bent - hence the replacement! So a word of warning when cleaning the brush - don't push the cleaning pad up too far. That said, the brush works really well at getting the undercover out, probably better than my old brush. Shame about the design fault otherwise it would be terrific.

A quiet and effective tool for my poodle cross.
I have a Labradoodle, but she’s three quarters poodle, and needs to be groomed by the same methods. She’s very wary of noisy equipment, so i’ve had to get her used to grooming tools slowly, and the slicker is something which she is now fairly comfortable with me using on her, even though it pulls and sometimes she notices. It’s easy to handle, a good shape and size for avoiding tugging at a small area and hurting her, and, once i’ve got a grooming system going, with her coat a bit shorter, and less time- consuming, she’ll look all the better for it..

Great product
I bought this for my elderly cat who had started to struggle to groom well enough . He loved it. Although it’s quite large, it’s gentle. The nodules on the ends of the bristles means it massages instead of scratches. Also the button to remove pet hair is very satisfying and works a treat . Overall definitely worth the money .

Good Comb - dog didn't like
Our dog didn't get on well with this comb. The idea and execution is great, easy to clean and remove hair. However our dog did not like the feel, and so we opted to buy her a tangle teezer instead (which has been much better received!)
