This is a great product once you figure out that it will not grind the larger peppercorns. I was using the tri-color peppercorns and after a few month it just wasn't grinding. It was full of peppercorns, but not grinding. So I put it aside until just recently and decided to take it apart to figure out why it wasn't working. It was all backed up with peppercorns that would not go through the screening mechanism. Got rid of the big corns and it works like it did when I first purchased it.

So, awesome product that has helped me decide I'm never going back to pre-ground pepper. Unfortunately the caps wont stay on after just a month of use. Try to stick it on, and it just pops right back off. The cap has ended up on the floor and in my food quite a bit lately.*edit:Lifestyle Dynamics deserves a 10 star rating on service!! They are a pleasure to deal with and response time is unmatched.The salt/pepper grinder has a design flaw though. The caps tend to want to pop off. After I received the new grinder from Lifestyle Dynamics (less than 3 days after the problem arose), I tested it out to find that it had the same issue as my old one. I will continue to use it until it totally breaks, but I will be changing products at that point.

I ordered this combo pepper and salt mill to add to my kitchen gadgets because of the nice sleek design and the other great product reviews on it. It was shipped quickly with Amazon Prime, but when it arrived it quickly became apparent that I had received a product that might not have been inspected before being shipped out the door. The barrel handles you grip while turning to mill the salt or pepper didn't quite line up correctly and while it worked very (very) well, it was off.When I was purchasing this I noticed the company, LIfestyle Dynamics, advertised a lifetime guarantee so I contacted them directly from an e-mail they sent me right after purchase. I sent a short video of the problems as I saw them with the mill as well. The response I got back was immediate, professional, apologetic, and decisive. I was thanked for contacting them directly so they could address my problem. They saw my concern and indeed I received a product that was not a typical of their standard. Not only was I to receive a replacement of the mill I purchased with salt and pepper on the diagonal but they would send me a similar mill they sell as well just so I can choose which one I prefer because of my troubles! Ha! How's that for customer service?True to their word, I received both mills 2 days later, today in the mail and I have to say they both work beautifully. I am keeping and using both "replacement" models, putting Pink Himalayan salt & black peppercorns in one and French Grey Sea Salt & Rainbow peppercorns in the other. And since they are both have such a beautiful display of the product within I be able to interchange the ingredients as necessary in recipes.I love the spice mills, but LifeStyle Dynamics proved themselves to be a stand up company that makes well crafted kitchen gadgets in a time where "well made" and "great customer service" are both terms that aren't heard very often. I can't say enough great things about this mill. I would recommend purchasing especially for such a great price!

Salt side works great. Have issues with the pepper. Very hard to get grind out. I have tried old pepper and brand new pepper, same issue. Tried changing the size of the grind, no luck either. Also wish the storage areas were bigger. Nice looking product though. Haven't tried switching the salt and pepper sides yet.

My wife and I bought this to replace an existing set of salt and pepper grinders that were falling apart. After looking through an embarrassing number of salt and pepper grinders on Amazon, we settled on the "Brushed Silver" version with the angled separator. We were worried the grinder would be too big and would topple over too easily or be too small and we'd have to constantly refill it. Luckily, the manufacturer seems to have struck the right balance. We keep it out on our counter with the  oil and vinegar bottles  and it fits right in. As far as the grinder itself goes, it's moderately heavy and appears to be good quality. The only knock would be the apparently acrylic body which, in my experience, will crack and wear over time. However, for the price and design it's not a huge deal.Good:- Nice size to quantity of salt/pepper ratio- The brushed silver is heavy and seems durable- The grinders don't catch or bind like other grinders I've usedMeh:- Acrylic body

I love freshly ground salt and pepper. I was purchasing the individual grinders you find in a grocery store only to discover that they ran out too fast and the money I was spending on them was more than adding up. With this grinder set I can happily grind the perfect size salt and pepper because on the bottom of each size is an adjustment. You can make the ground size larger or smaller depending on what you are needing at the moment. Each size has a lid to keep the sale and pepper nice and fresh. in addition, not only does it look very cook in the kitchen it takes up less space on your kitchen counter. If you like to eat clean as I do, this is the only way to distribute salt and pepper on your food.

Good little grinder. Use it a lot. The ends pop off sometimes and one side sometimes just spins and you have to move the silver ring down so it works again. Good price for what it is. Glad I have one but I wouldn't buy this one again. Do love the dual sides. 4 star because although I use it and enjoy it, the few problems take it down.Update. Seems like the stainless steel in painted on. Look out for plastic in the grind and already broken. Waste of money.
