I have no shame in admitting that I am not as flexible as I once was and since getting back into yoga I needed something to help out me out. At first I was a little nervous about bringing it to my first class but there were a lot of other people that had them too. I really like that I can focus on the the pose and not worrying that I can't reach the floor. This Yoga Strap can be used in seated, standing and balancing poses as well as to help with shoulder and back alignment. The only thing I'm not over the moon about is that the metal on the strap can be kind of loud when it hits the ground and I did gets some looks in class. I have noticed that other straps have plastic on it, but I just think being mindful of not smacking the metal on the ground would take care of that. I really like the eggplant purple color. I am going to have to get a new yoga mat to match it.I purchased this yoga strap at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
