I finally replaced my old wire blender with this bladed blender and it's so nice! It cut up my hard butter in no time without bending or tiring out my wrist. Its height and width make it cut a large swath while rocking easily across the bottom of the bowl. The handle is comfortably soft and wide enough that my hand fits within the edges. The handle is actually oval-shaped from top to bottom, supposedly an ergonomic design but I didn't notice any benefit from that except to make it large enough to grasp comfortably.The bonus mat is a nice addition even if it is too small for a full-size pie. I used it even though the crust I was rolling would hang over the top and bottom edge by an inch or so just to see how it worked, and I was quite pleased with it and will continue to use it. It cleans up easier than the counter top and sticks in place beautifully. I've very pleased with this product and recommend it.

This pastry blender is great! The handle is very comfortable and the dough doesn't stick to the blades. I make pies from scratch and usually in large quantities. The first time I used this blender I actually made 8 pies and made the dough in double batches and the blender was definitely able to handle that quantity and my hand didn't get tired at all. I have had other non-stick blenders, but the coating started to peel, so I wanted just a stainless steel one and am not at all disappointed by this one! Highly recommended.

My old pastry knife failed and I needed to replace it. The Galley Stop was my choice with its substantial components and its oval handle which keeps the knife more steady in your hand. Round handle pastry knives (like my old one) would tend to turn in my hand when pressing down, needed more strength to control and thus were harder to use.

This item arrived in good time, well packaged. So I was surprised to see that the tines were bent. this was easily fixed by the use of my long nose pliers. Also it looked to me as if this had been used, as there was noticeable residue between the segments. Easily cleaned, but not what I would have expected. The rolling mat is not as large as I might have thought. A full pie crust will come over the edges. Full size is 15 x 11 inches.

The moment I saw it I knew it would be great! I really like working with it! It's sturdy and well made. This is one that is not up for loan. I recommend it! I liked the quality of the mat too. Great Deal! I only wish I could purchase a bigger one. I need to inquire with the Company to see if they sell bigger mats and order one. Try it! I know you'll like. I would definitely consider buying other items with this company with this good quality!

I'm very happy with this! I use it to cut butter into dry ingredients for scones and pie crusts. The mat was a nice bonus and is actually really useful for sizing out my scones. I have had no problems so far with anything collapsing or shifting while cutting the butter and it's easy to clean. It has a nice weight to it, and does not feel super flimsy or cheap.

I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived because it is so much sturdier than previous ones I have purchased. I love the way it fits my hand as I use it and love that it is stainless steel and thus dishwasher safe!

This is a great product! One of the tines was bent when I removed it from the box, but it was easy to bend it back to the correct position. However, don't worry that the tines will continually need adjustment because so far mine is fine.
