This soap holder is made of durable acrylic and it sticks to a smooth, clean surface with an adhesive tape. It reduces soap scum and increases the life of bar soap as any water will drain out of the bottom.

Great for RV's!
RV showers never have a soap shelf that keeps the soap in place. We had this in our last camper and are buying another one to go in the new trailer. They work well, and the white one doesn't show the soap scum. Brilliant idea, very easy to get the soap out, it drains and doesn't produce a soupy mess. We've had no issues with adhesion, but we also placed it so that water doesn't run directly on it.

Best little invention to keep soap from getting nasty
This is the simplest thing I have ever seen, and that is probably why it works so well. It holds almost any size or shape of soap and allows water to dry uniformly and quickly. This prevents the soap from getting soft and mushy - or for lack of better terms: Nasty. It's also pretty easy to get the soap out, my 6-year old son has no issues using it and we now have 2 of these holders for our shower and his.KISS - Keep It Simple and Stupid works again for this design - I love it!Update - I now own 4 of these, one is in every shower we own now. They are awesome. I love it and wish they made a porcelain version!

Neat and tidy
Allows soap to dry out so it lasts longer. Use for razor and type shampoos upside down. No bottles falling off shelf. Bought for home and RV.

Good design, poor adhesive
I purchased this for my shower which has tiled walls. The product info said that it would adhere to tile. But just to make certain, I cleaned off a large area of the tile and applied the included sticker with it. That was worthless. The sticker was dry. So I had to throw that away. Obviously this was a very old product. However, I did happen to have some very stick double stick padded tape, so I replaced it with that, and so far, it seems to be working.I do like the fact that you put soap in it and it drains well. That is what I was looking for. It doesn't stick to tile well however. I found that I had to purchase a different type of sticky tope to get it to work on my tiled walls.

Wish I’d invented it!
I love these things! They’re so functional, I’ve been putting them in every home I’ve owned since I first saw them in one of those catalogs in the 1980s. My only complaint on the clear model (which is more expensive than the white model) is that they don’t use clear, double-sided tape anymore like they used to. You can still buy that yourself. Here’s a pic of what it looks like if you don’t. (Yes, my shower needs to be cleaned. Merry Maids comes tomorrow...better for you to see real world example than catalog perfect.) Yes, you’ll probably get more soap scum on your walls than you do now. So what?! Clean your shower weekly anyway. Your soap will last longer and it will never feel mushy (gross!!!) when you go to use it. Plus...who knows what kinda nasty stuff grows on mushy wet soap?! Some people ask me why I don’t switch to a liquid body soap. I like the way bar soap feels. I feel cleaner using it. Personal preference. If you don’t use bar soap, then you’re probably not looking at this product anyway!!!

Keeps soap dry and reduces “melting“
A simple solution to a “stuck-on the shelf” and “melting” bar (average sized) of soap. It seems to preserve the soap by allowing it to dry out. Not that soap is expensive, but I usually buy a “middle of the road“ scented or infused with moisturizer soap and those cost more than, for example, Irish Spring Ivory, or Dove. It’s a matter of “real soap vs mass produced soap” - there’s a big difference! Believe me. Plus, there’s not enough shelf space in my shower to accommodate a bar of soap without having the soap disintegrate on the wet shelf. It’s easy to use; you just deposit the soap bar into the top of the V-shaped, clear plastic holder which has an open bottom. The device holds the soap from its side, allowing easy access and drying. Also, the bottom of the unit is open for drainage and It helps the soap bar dry while allowing water to drip out the bottom. I like that it is clear but even white would be fine in my shower. The mounting tape is strong, even when constantly wet. I’m glad it wasn’t a suction-cup design because those seem to fall off the wall - even after cleaning the site with soap remover. For the price, it may take a few years to recoup your investment due to “lost/melted” soap. I just like to be able to wash with a traditional, handmade bar of good soap and want to preserve it. Though it could be taken with me when I move in June, it’s cheap enough that I’ll leave it for the next tenants and re-order one for my new place. I am highly satisfied with this simple product.

Not the prettiest but practical
If you are proud of the aesthetics in your shower then these soap holders aren't for you. If, however, you haven't remodeled your shower with seaglass and sandstone tiles and a curtain-less partition--i.e. you're just an average Joe with a plain-Jane fiberglass unit, this soap saver is awesome. It doesn't take up precious shelf space and saves you cleaning soap scum off of the edge of the bathtub. They stick on strong and don't weaken with moisture. Soap's always there when you need it, and it lasts longer.

Soap fits and dries nicely
Recommend. I have three of these on my shower wall now. The soap in two of them (one round and one oval and previously one rectangular) dries well. The third holds a face scrubber which also dries well. I do suggest the opaque version rather than clear because the color of my soap sometimes drips behind the holder and is then visible. I clean it out with a wire from a twisty tie (like on baked goods at the store) but can still see a little stuck to the tape used to secure the holder to the wall.

Does the job, great little holder
Works as described. I placed my soap holder kinda away from the shower head, so the soap bar can really dry out. Love the product ! Simple to installed and has stayed in place since I bought roughly 3 months ago.

Great holder to keep your soap out of the water
Excellent soap holder. I’ve bought many of them. They stick really well and I’ve not had any issues with any of them falling down. We have them in our house and rv showers. The open space in the front make taking your soap out super easy.

Love it
Great soap holder. This is my second one. Very easy to install and very strong adhesive. No more messy soap.

Great concept! Adhesion issues.
This item is great since we have no counter space in a washroom, allows soap by sink. BUT the adhesive has failed twice, the item just fell off the ceramic tile wall. I just pushed it on again, as per instructions, and this third time it has stayed in place for a while. If it falls again, I purchased double sided adhesive to augment what came with the item. Worth the trouble, it is very functional.

These are so useful & don't take up any space.
I recently moved & had a set in my previous residence but the new place didn't & when I showered I missed having them . The are so handy & can be placed where accessible. I love them. They were shipped well within reason, actually ahead of the time I expected. Thank you.
