They have been thoroughly emptied and sanitized. These eggs are all from domestic birds...... Eggs from the wild are never used; we never take eggs from nesting mothers. All of our eggs come from breeders and are past prime for hatching and eating. So, they would otherwise be discarded....... Although the eggs displayed are not the exact eggs you will received, we guarantee a nice selection. I will hand pick and carefully package and ship.....Turkey eggs have one hole in butt end, no more than 2 mm....this listing is for 2 eggs...... Please let me choose a lovely selection for you! For educators or simply the curious. ..... The eggs have been cleaned as I would clean them for myself...NO SCRUBBIES, NO HARSH DETERGENTS, NO CHEMICALS. I use baking soda outside and vinegar inside as a sanitizer. Then a rinse in hot water. That's it. One hole is in butt end, no more than 2 mm.
