Measures 8,000 Gallons of water flow to help you know when to change your water filter. The Digiflow 8000T flow meter measures gallons, number of days, and flow rate. The suggested placement of the flow meter is to measure water that is purified or filtered. 3/8-inch MNPT connectors are needed to install the flowmeter onto your tubing. Batteries are included. The flowmeter uses 2 AAA batteries. Mounting Velcro included to mount the flow meter on a wall, cabinet, or another part of your water filtration system.

Accuracy
An OK product for the price...... you get what you pay for. Put it in line on a tow behind tank sprayer to keep up with delivery for each zone of my lawn. Calibrated first with a tank of water (15 gallons). Meter is off by 13.3% -- meter indicated 15 gallons delivered but there was still 2 gallons left in the tank. I'll just need to take this inaccuracy into account when i deliver product to the lawn. If accuracy is important i would certainly suggest testing for each application meter is being used for (either total delivery or flow rate).

Very accurate. I've been changing my undersink water filter too often using time rather than actual use as a guide.
Very accurate -- within a gallon when tested by refilling 30 gal emergency water supply. I have been changing the filter of my undersink filtration system too often -- I used to measure time, rather than actual use to determine when to change the filter. This flow meter is going to save me quite a bit of money, since I'll be changing the water filter when it actually needs changing.Hint for installation: I used 2 3/8" quick connect plastic fittings to facilitate installation of this meter. Plastic threads on both the fittings and the meter. Teflon tape on the threads DOES NOT work -- fittings leak. Find a good quality plumbing thread sealant. I used Megaloc Multi-purpose thread sealant -- it works on plastic and metal threads, and contains kevlar. No leaks with this sealant!

Won't work with low flow rate
The unit failed to meety needs. The details for this product fail provide the minimum flow rate that was required to spin the impeller. This being used on and RO application. ..75 god membtane. It won't measure the flow
