I bought this to make my own body butters and lotions . So far so good , I will update once I have tried it in a few ways . It is solid so you do have to warm it up a bit before you can just apply it to your skin . I have warmed it just rubbing it in my hands when I first got it .The smell is okay , and you do not have to mix it with something else , it is just my preference to do so . Nice packaging ,and it arrived sealed .

I like this shea butter a lot. My only problem with it is that it's very hard and I have to put it in my hands and rub to together for a while to warm it up and get it to liquefy. Feels great on my skin.

Good as a base because it smells very much like dirt. I whipped it into a body cream with coconut oil and almond and vanilla essential oils. Much easier to apply!

Used this after foot surgery to keep the stitch area soft and promote non-scarring . Turns out shea butter was a really nice softener for my whole foot and I'm still using it on both my feet and hands. I have no idea if this brand is any more special than another but I bought it because of its organic certification and I like it. I'm also using it every night as a cuticle softener. The jar is huge - I use a small cosmetic spatula to transfer some to a travel size container for regular use.

I was skeptical but was willing to try it. In just a short period of time using this Shea Butter, I am seeing less breakouts, my skins looking clearer and the scars from my previous acne breakouts are starting to fade. I couldn't be happier!

I was a little confused on how to use this but it makes my skin so silky soft. I scoop a table spoon of it before I take a shower and put it in one of those ceramic oil diffusers to melt down to make the application easier and I add a few drops of essential oils. I was a hardcore fan of using coconut oil on my skin for years but this seems to moisturize and absorb better on my skin.

Seemed like wax was added, bleached and or processed.

Very good quality Shea Butter. While searching amazon for Raw Shea Butter I saw various questionable products so decided to go with this one to be safe. Some of the other ones said they were "white" but then reviews said they were yellow. I used this for a homemade body butter and wanted high quality. It is indeed white, if that makes a difference.
