Wiebad Front and Rear Support Loop Bag

Got this with the intention of using as a rear bag for a bolt gun on a bipod. Pretty durable, just the right amount of squish, just the right amount of weight. I suppose you could clip that loop to something, but I usually walk with it in a cargo pocket, carries fine.

The lightweight portion of this review is kind of odd, because you don't necessarily want this bag to be light.. It has a dense filling and is intended to be. I gave it five stars in all areas regardless, but don't think this bag is lightweight, it's not. It's heavy and it's supposed to be. Excellent quality, feel, nice dense filling for stability under the rifle. Buy with confidence.

I was skeptical this little loose filled bag was going to offer good support but it is prefect. Simply squeeze the bag with your non firing hand to adjust elevation. Its very versatile also: Laying flat works best with traditional stocks; sitting upright works best with telescopic AR stocks; also functions as a pistol rest.

These are good bags. I have tried bags from several other companies in addition to Wiebad and they were ok too. When shooting I borrowed some Midway bags and found that I prefer them over all the high dollar bags. The Midway bags are a bit heavier and I find them easier to use and squeeze. I think I like Midways filling better. If you are running and gunning in PRS competition the lighter weight may be more important but as my running and gunning days are in the past the Midway bags work better for me.

Very durable material and useful for shooting long range. I use as a rear bag with a bipod. Has tightened my groups up as it's much more steady. It's made in USA which also had me sold on it.Edit: I've had it a year now, I shoot a few times a week when I can with it. It is very broke in now. I never did anything but just use it to break it in. It works very well for me, I bought a few other products from wiebad as well. Their shooting mats are waterproof as this picture shows After shooting in the mud, didn't leak at all. Mat was cheaper directly from them.

Let's start with what doesn't really matter, this bag looks great! Ok, now that that's out of the way, let's talk about construction. The fabric seems to be quite thick, without restricting movement and "squeezeability". The stitching appears to be robust, but only time can tell. I firmly believe I will be using this bag 10 or 20 years from now.It does what it is supposed to do, supports the rear of the rifle, allowing for micro adjustments to elevation to the sight picture. For proof, take a look at my group using this bag (.355 MOA, first time shooting a new .308 build).I'll buy another someday, just to have another pattern!

Really stiff, not much of a squeeze bag for sure but it’s definitely tough and should last forever.

Strong, durable, reliable. For me the size is perfect. It's small, but not so small to make it useless. Likewise, it's not so large as to impede its function or make it a burden to carry.
