The Best -- Excellent Product!
I've purchased a number of these pop-ups and consider them to be the best product of this type on the market! Formerly had a half-dozen or so pieces of the considerably more expensive KittyWalk system, which was an ok system, but I have greatly (GREATLY!) preferred these outdoor feline funhouses for our 3 cats! The cats have preferred them, also. There is no tiresome assembly involved, these are far less complicated to use, are only a fraction the weight of even a single unit of the other product, they are easy to store, can be hosed clean when necessary, and unwary birds & chipmunks cannot get into them, nor be dragged into them by eager paws and claws--a BIG plus. It does take a bit of practice to acquire the knack for folding them up, but it's not that difficult to get the hang of it with a bit of patience. The instructions for doing that could be better, I agree, but I understand there is now a YouTube video which demonstrates how to do it also. Cats really like these funhouses, though, and when they are left unzipped indoors seem to gravitate to them and to curl up inside of them indoors as well.I've needed several of these at a time due to having had former strays and ferals, a couple of which had not been socialized in the least, and although those had managed to adjust (more or less) to indoor cohabitation with other felines over time, simply could not be grouped with others in a funhouse and so had required separate accommodations of their own. Only one cat has ever attempted escapes from the funhouse and that one masterful escape artist of my crew had very easily been foiled in further attempts by a couple of large safety pins--one securing the side double zippers together and one securing the small door zipper to the bottom section of mesh. A considerable victory, since that cat had repeatedly managed escapes from all other containment systems & enclosures, no matter how many other clamps, ties, and other devices had been rigged up or purchased to try to keep those other doors closed and the escape artist inside. The Funhouse has proven to be the most secure outdoor containment of any product I've used, bar none.Bringing the funhouse indoors when not in use will extend the life of this product. The couple I'd left outdoors continuously exposed to the elements (sun mainly) had not fared nearly as well and had lasted only a single 3-season period. There are many soft kitty huts & cubes small enough to fit inside of these funhouses, too, should your cats enjoy hiding in seclusion, being outdoors in cooler weather, or merely object strongly to being ruffled by any breeze.I don't know whether or not these would stand up to small dogs or puppies that chewed on them, but think they would be ideal also for many small breeds of dogs, otherwise. These would likely not offer much protection from large vicious dogs or predators like coyotes or perhaps fishers, however, so cats or small dogs do need to be supervised while outdoors in these.I've used these for years now and am a repeat customer because I've been so pleased with this product. It's an excellent product and the cats really like and enjoy them too. That they want to get inside of them when they are indoors is also a testament to how very much they like them. I've purchased many other types, even the most expensive systems--but these are the best, without a doubt.

I am really dissatisfied with this product. After having it for only 3 months and two days (right after the 90 day Amazon time limit) I was agast to find that my 2 pound kitten had made holes big enough to get out of the fun house. I am 66 years old and unable to get under my beds where the kitten would go and could have gotten hurt. I would NOT recommend anyone purchasing this item who wants a safe place for their cats to be left inside or worse yet outside. By the way, ours was never outside.

Overall good
I currently own this tent as well as the other most popular one that's here on amazon. This tent wasn't high enough and the cats would climb up its roof and end up collapsing it. The other tent has a higher roof and they don't climb it. This is a bit more difficult to fold away as well because you need to twist it the right way. However, I sometimes leave it open in the house and my two cats will just lay in it and play with each other through it. I feel like my cat actually goes in here to give himself a time out and unwind when he gets worked up. Nice tent overall.

Frame Bend Out of Shape
SO disappointed! This is the third Wildwhiskers Outdoor Feline Funhouse we have owned. The first one just wore out from being on concrete and fabric wore away. The second and third the framework got bent and cannot fold neatly to put away in cover. The third one was purchased in January of 2022, so just over a year ago.I will donate this third one to a local animal shelter. (Providing I can get the blessed thing folded up.)I will not be buying another. It is just too expensive to keep buying to have only last a year.

Fantastic Invention for Indoor Cats
Our indoor kitty absolutely LOVES this outdoor playpen. It is completely enclosed in mesh, and has two openings to get the cat in and out. The height is perfect (our cat stood up on her back legs to stretch, and her paws touched the top of the mesh, so she has plenty of room to move around in all directions), plus the top mesh keeps kitty in while still letting her see above, too.We put the playpen on our deck in the shade and after the deck was not hot anymore from the sun. We also put a beach towel down underneath for her comfort. Lots of extra room to put toys and a dish of water in, too.It comes with either stakes to hold it to the ground (so a strong breeze doesn't blow it away with your cat inside) or you can fill the attached outside pockets with sand or stones to keep it in place. You still wouldn't want to leave your cat alone in it outside, though - the mesh is strong but also flexible, meaning another animal could still go after your cat if you're not right there to watch. Also, if you put it in the grass, it would seem you would run a higher risk of kitty getting fleas. This is such a great idea for indoor cats who want to be outside. There is no assembly required, so it's very portable and easy to use. We set it up inside the house first and left both doors open to let our cat get used to it. She took to it right away, so we then put it on the deck next to us. She did not want to come in the house after a taste of being outdoors. They do specifically say to remove your cat's collar because there is a possibility of it getting caught on the mesh. This is a great tip. Packing it up in the carrying case is a little tricky, but they give you directions on how to do the folding so it fits flat for storage. They also recommend a YouTube demo if you're still not sure. All in all, we really love this - our cat no longer whines at the door when we're all outside; she can be with us and she really loves it. So we do, too.
