I adore these toys. First of all, they are made of wood and wood or tin toys are always awesome. Secondly, this is the only boomerang I've ever gotten to kind of come back to me. I had so much fun playing with it and trying to get it to come back. It flew really well, took tons of diggers on grass and gravel and only sustained minor scuffs and knicks. I love the bright and happy colors. The sling shot is really rugged with a thick rubber band that can be easily replaced if broken. The leather bit honestly worried me, but has seemed to endured despite seeming thin. The power behind it was unreal, way better than I thought it would be. I am so in love with this set. I hope when my kids get them on Christmas that they have as much fun with them as I did testing them out!*Product discount received in exchange for an honest review.

I love boomerangs. So much fun. However, their is a significant learning curve, and claiming "always returns" is deceptive. I expect that this product returns consistently when thrown by experts using the right parameters (of which, with a boomerang, there are many), but my daughter and I have not achieved that yet. We are having a lot of fun trying. The amount of space needed is quite large (by suburban standards) and should probably be included in the product description. I would estimate that you would need 100 x 100 yards if you are not an expert and the wind is not perfectly calm. Just my guess. We have a field available that is 100 x 50 yards with light but variable winds, and about 30% of our throws end up in the trees / bushes / stream. The throws that appear like they will return need more than 50 yards of width (almost a perfect circle). Again, we are not experts. Also again, so much fun!

The boomerang flies, but not especially well. I am pretty experienced with boomerangs and have many commercial and home made ones. The ply it is made from is not the highest of quality, the joins in the veneers at the surface are quite noticeable through the paint. It is cheap, so that isn't surprising I guess... Oddly enough it is painted on the bottom surface which is unusual for a boomerang, normally only the top surface is painted with a design. Not a big issue, but most throwers are used to using that as a quick hint to turn it over to the right side for throwing.It arrived perfectly flat, which is mostly a good thing, I've had a number of 'rangs arrive warped badly in transit. It is however very hard to tune and had no dihedral at all when it arrived and so little lift it basically flew straight like a kylie. I've tried giving it more dihedral and twisting the ends to get it to fly better, it actually flies in an arc now, but it seems like it will always be a pretty bad flyer. There are leading-edge undercuts on the tips of both wings which should help, but don't seem to. The foils are pretty roughly made, almost like it was just quickly routed around all the edges, sanded then spray painted and stencilled. It certainly wasn't test flown before sale.The bonus slingshot is made from thick plywood. It is fairly roughly made, but not completely awful. Unsure how long the pocket and rubber parts will last but it is kinda fun.

The delivery, description and package were all as described. The boomerang felt really good and solid. However, every time I threw it, it will go vertical forever and land in a straight line from where I threw it. I tried different ways of throwing: Painted side facing me, facing the opposite side, tip facing the front, tip facing the back, etc. Never got to make a wide turn and return to me. The last throw I did, it kept flying vertical, hit a post and broke in half. Contrary to what the title reads, it never came back to me.Note: I owned a different one many years ago and it worked very well. I was able to grab it most of the times.

Not very sturdy, I played with it in a open pastured no hard surfaces anywhere. After about 1 hour it split, not in 1/2 but in the middle, it separated. This is defiantly not worth the 18.95 I paid for it. Sorry Guys just not very sturdy.

Bought for my 3 grandson's, they love it ! They specially loved the free gift of the slingshot that come with it too. Very well made both the boomerang and the slingshot.(Don't know how happy their parent's are having 3 boomerangs and 3 slingshots). The boys haven't got a chance to play with the boomerangs yet because of the weather , but I have no doubt they will work fine. The slingshots work great! lol. The order came really fast and packaged very well! Would order from again! Thank You

Broke within two days. But it had hit stuff a good bit. Almost got it to come back. Really not a bad product.
