Used it to try to suppress weed growth in a shallow pond 2ft deep mostly by reducing light. Gives a dark hue to the water as advertised but the weeds still got enough light to grow. Would need a lot to make water dark enough to stop weeds in shallow water. Ah well!

Good product. Not so good supplier.
Product is great but RiMAX Bio never responded after I sent an email to them about the bottle being damaged in shipping. They did a poor job packaging. It was leaking. I suggest getting a pond dye from a different supplier.

Black pond dye
Tried this dye this spring worked ok, have used another brand that worked better -deeper color and lasted longer. The darker colors seem to fade faster. This did work as stated.
