Wish your understanding. (U2EX50) **Q: Will this allow me to connect a usb microphone from one computer to another over the internet or only lan?** A: I don't think this would work. The device's transmitter sends a signal over CAT5/6 cable to the receiver which then connects to a computer via USB cable. There is no LAN or Internet involved. It will allow you to have a mic or a camera almost 200 ft away, but it is an isolated device not part of a LAN or WAN. **Q: Can multiple computers connect to this at once? i need a solution that will allow me to share a usb dongle between hosts in a vmware cluster.** A: Sorry we do not understand your question. There is only one usb interface for transmitter. So there can be one computer using at the same time. Its also a point to point devices that does not support switch. ## Frequently Bought Together - AV Access USB Extender Over Cat5e/6 196ft/60M, 4 USB 2.0 Ports, Plug and Play, No Driver, Supports All Operating System, Two Webcams Work Synchronously, Keyboard and Mouse Over Ethernet - RUIPRO 8K Detachable Pure Fiber Optic Armored HDMI 2.1 Cable 85FT, Ultra High Speed 48Gbps, Support 8K@60Hz 4K@120Hz, Dynamic HDR, eARC, Compatible with PS5/Xbox/Blu-ray/TV/Monitor/Projector - RUIPRO 8K HDMI Fiber Optic Cable CL2 Rated 33 Feet 48Gbps 8K60Hz 4K120Hz Dynamic HDR eARC HDCP2.2/2.3 for RTX4080/4090/3080/3090, Xbox S/X, PS5/4, AVR, Projector, LG/Samsung/Sony TV --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/211146906-usb-2-0-extender-to-rj45-over-cat5-5e-6](https://www.desertcart.be/products/211146906-usb-2-0-extender-to-rj45-over-cat5-5e-6) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
