Good coverage once it's started
hard to use at first....needs to be shaken a lot and wait patiently for the liquid to come out! Good coverage once it's started. Wipes away, but after a longer time it is harder to get off chalkboard material

Clear, smooth writing and good colors
These are great! When I first opened up one of the markers to use it, I didn't realize you had to shake it first. (Can you tell these are my first chalk markers?) So yeah, before you can use a marker, you have to shake it for a bit. It's really nice how they have the instructions printed on the markers themselves so you don't have to keep the box, besides it's just convenient. The markers write very smoothly and consistently. There seems to be just the right amount of ink/liquid so the markers don't emit too much liquid or too little. The color variety is good, too. The colors are bright and show up very clearly. I didn't smell anything from these markers, so the odor-free claim seems accurate to me. It's cool that these have a reversible tip, but I didn't try this because it seemed like it would be messy and I didn't have any gloves. The 8 free labels were really nice, too!As for erasing, I first just tried swiping the writing off with my finger and that worked okay, though as expected, it left residue on my finger. I then used a dry paper towel to erase the markers and that worked better, of course, but it did leave a light residue of the writing/images. The white an blue were harder to erase for some reason. I wetted the paper towel and wiped the writing with that, and that took it all off very easily. Overall, these are easy to use and work great! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
