To make these handmade baskets there are many steps into the process. We use long leaf pine needles from Florida, and the basket is threaded with Light Rose Wax Linen Thread. To create the resin center there are many steps to get the finished shinny look. We pour the resin into molds and color with Jacquard Pearl Ex lavender Powdered pigment. Once it's harden it goes through a process to remove all the bubbles and edges are smoothed down. When we are satisfied with the completed basket it is coated with shellac. Everyone of our baskets are unique and one of a kind. There are designed and crafted by us.
