Biggest problem that water leaks in.
I love how it looks. It looks elegant and different. The top seal is okay, but I would probably not use it for transportation , or toss it in a bag or anything like that. It's good enough to seal it in the car while on the road or on your office desk, stuff like that . Size is medium which is good enough for me. I know many people prefer bigger tumblers, so this would not be a good choice for them. It's definitely shorter looking than the picture.Glass seems thin as if it would break if you were not careful with it. My biggest issue with this mug that it started to leak water from the washing between the two layers of glass . Which is very annoying as I can see a small hole in the bottom , probably how it got in there. But for some reason it doesn't leech out. Very annoyed by this.

Not happy
The good: A. The glass shape is 'pretty' and a good size. B. The bamboo lid fits well. C. The silicon stopper on the lid holds tightly. The bad: A. The bamboo lid is heavily treated with some type of wood sealant that smells awful. B. After making some tea and placing the lid on, my tea tasted like grain alcohol due to the sealant chemicals leeching out of the lid. My tea was not consumable after this. C. I decided to boil the lid to remove the smell and the sealant which after boiling produced a rusty water result telling me that the sealant had not penetrated the bamboo and was leeching out. D. The picture here is of a narrow glass that is tall. The height is deceptively short in comparison. These are actually Short and fat not tall and skinny.

This was a cool mug. I got home
This was a cool mug. I got home, opened it, washed it, and put it out by the coffee pot to use the next day. I'm the morning I filled it with coffee, put it's awesome lid on (thought about the complements I would get from my coworkers), and proceeded out the door to work. On my way out I grabbed my work tools (medical tools as I'm a veterinarian) and did my typical balancing act with all of my items. As I walked out my coat got caught on the door knob, causing me to lose balance and...we'll...the cup fell and shattered into thousands of tiny pieces. I never actually got to use my new coffee cup, but I had an image in my head of what it would be like to use a cup that would not get full of dog and car fur after a few sips, and it was nice, so I'll still give 5 stars. I still have the lid, and sadly it just ALMOST fits a few of my mugs, but it's not the same as it's fit on the cup. For now I still don't know the taste of fur-less coffee, but I imagine it's heavenly. RIP cup with bamboo lid.

Not the size I wanted.
It's a nice looking glass that looks exactly like shown. However, I found it to be smaller than I thought it would be. I expected this item to be a nice tall 16oz size mug and it would have been the right size I have been looking for. That is the only reason I forewent the handle. If I had known this would be a mere 8oz I would have opted for other brand which I have purchased previously that did have handles. Lid would be nice to have if this cup was bigger, but since it is merely about 8oz, having a lid makes it even less capable of holding that much of coffee, because the lid intrudes about a 1/3 of an inch.

Great glass, the lid smells awful
The good:Love the glass! (Even though it was not the tall shape pictured but more like the 12oz cups other brands have) Not only does it look and feels great, it does an amazing job at keeping drinks cold especially with the lid on.The bad:The bamboo lid has this awful smell that is leaching into my water. I think it smells like wood glue but maybe it is the sealer.I'm going to exchange my product and helpfully the lid will be better next time.

This cup is awesome
I tried to cancel my order of this cup, because I read it's terrible reviews. Amazon still shipped it because the order was already processed. It is a very good size, not as tall as the photo shows, but it hold as much as a normal mug would. The top fits nicely, although the silicone ring was partially melted to the glass when I received it. It also seems as if its Bodum brand - which is pretty high quality!!!

Very nice, crystal clear
Very nice, crystal clear, feels a little light in my hand though.Works great, keeps coffee warm twice as long as a standardcup. It would be nice if I bought the larger one, as 12 ouncesis a little light weight for me. The bamboo cover is beautiful andalmost looks hand made, not a reason for the purchase; butappreciated none the less.

Keeps coffee warmer than my stainless steel cup!
I was worried since a few people said their lid had a funky smell that affected the taste of their drinks but my lid has no smell and holds in the liquid quite well. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but I did even put it in my purse one time and it didn't spill the whole way to work. As the title says, it stays hotter than my stainless steel cup keeps it at work, so I couldn't be happier!
