Baby Vida Oxygen Monitor, White

Love this product. Noted all of the reviews -- think this is for healthy babies only. Spent time getting the strap just right and adjusted. Once you get it figured out, great peace of mind. Performs well.

Unfortunately it didn't fit my baby's leg. My child was born @ 22 weeks he was extremely premature. After 5 months in the NICU about this the Peace of Mind it appeared to be functional and convenient. But unfortunately my son was only 6 pounds when when he came home and the device did not fit his foot. Was not able to track his pulse and breathing rates. I use my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Android phone. I believe the main issue is that the plasticor rubber portion for the sensor is not flexible enough for a small baby's foot.

Our son has been in the hospital for six month and was diagnosed with T O F a congenital heart disorder tetrology of fellon. My husband and I during our stay we have had to learn many terminology that I have never wanted to learn and one of them was the saturation level on a cardiac baby. We finally were told he would be able to go home with oxygen, breathing treatments and a hospital grade pulsox, unfortunately the hospital monitor is not the easiest or smaller to carry around and when we saw Baby Vida we were extremely excited to maybe have the opportunity to have a monitor that is more portable and easier to manage. When we recived the product we were still in the hospital and we had the chance to check the number on the hospital probe and on the home monitor, well the Baby Vida wasn't even close to what any of those two monitor were. It Is a great concept just very poorly executed, It looks and it feels cheap when we put it on our son foot the elastic blocked his circulation on how tight it is, before purchasing the item I got in contact directly with the company, the person that assisted me was very polite and I've explained to him that our son saturation level would be between 75 and 85 until his next open heart surgery and baby Vida monitor beeps at 93 so I've asked him if there was any way to be able to lower those levels to make it suitable for our situation...he say let me talk to our engineers and give me a call back in two days, called him in two days, he say that they would be able to do that and they will upgrade they're app to ge ahead and purchase the product.We finally got the product but yet the app was not available for lower limits and when I tried to call manufacture back multiple time leaving multiple voicemails no one answered or called me back. Bad advertisement, this product give false security when it could be life threatening like in our case. Please be caution one thing we learned in the hospital is look at the baby don't trust the monitor.

Strap was too big but the monitor self worked well

I can't even say it worked correctly, wife bought the owlet and compared it and spend the extra money if you can

My son was born 6 weeks premature. So unfortunately his foot was too small to fit in it.
