Cheap, effective, and as good as any other brand
Like most USB or SD/MicroSD/etc. cards you won't get the full (in this case) 16GB. You get 14.8GB with this product, which is decent enough, and for the price that I got this for, it can be ignored. This is a Class 4 MicroSD card, so it transfers at 4MB/second as a minimum transfer rate. This means that you can fill the whole MicroSD card up in 62 minutes, which is awesome compared to the slower and older Class 2 which takes twice as long.Right now (that is at the time I bought it), it is the best deal. Class 6 16GB are (were) too expensive, and I can just wait a bit longer for the transfer. Keep in mind, the 4MB/second is the minimum, so in Class 6, 6MB/second is the minimum, that doesn't mean that the Class 6 is going to transfer faster than the Class 4 in practical use, they may just run the same speed. But I don't have a Class 6 card, so I can't say for sure. For a Class 6, the transfer time (assuming they are all running at the minimum) would be cut by 20 minutes.Moving along, at the moment (October 2010), 32GB MicroSD cards are exorbitantly expensive. You could buy 2 or 3 of this 16GB Class 4 card in the place of a 32GB card. Which is a good thing for you if you want to be able to swap things out and around, or use one for data, and the other for say, a boot disc, instead of putting all your eggs in one basket.I use mine in my Archos 5 Internet Tablet to store all my movies, that way I can have all my movies removable, and if I had two, I could load movies onto one, while watching movies on the other. It comes with a USB adapter, which is really handy. You can attach it to a string and onto a keychain for easy transportation. If the card is going in your camera phone, you could pull the pictures out wherever you go. It's blue, so I know what's what if I'm fumbling around in the dark.Overall: Great product for the price, especially if you need the USB adapter. If time has passed since this review was written, then price would be different of course, but keep in mind some points I said above. Also, you don't need an expensive brand to feel better or safer with things like this. They are all built the same pretty much, just get what works if you want to save yourself some money.

Delicate?
Worked great until I dropped my phone once. The phone still worked fine after that, but the TopRAM microSD card inside it stopped working. Something must have shorted out inside... it no longer shows up under either phone or PC. The PC logs just show an endless string of I/O errors, so I can't even forensically recover the raw data.Lost all my data, I think I'll try getting a slightly beefier model next time :/

Arrived Quickly But Not Recognized
A good deal, but perhaps too good to be true?I ordered this item after reading other reviews on Amazon. I'm always hesitant to order generic memory cards, but the majority of reviews were positive, so I took a chance.I should not have. While the product arrived quickly, the memory card was not recognized by my phone or computer. I tried both adapters that came with the memory card as well as my own. Nothing worked. Not worth it to return/ship back for an exchange, so I'm out a few bucks. Not a huge deal, but a disappointment. Spend a little more money and get a name-brand memory card.

dont buy it for the Card Reader
It was a Cheap 16gb micro SD card...and for that, its great...have had no read/write issues with the SD card. The little SD card reader however...cheap crap. didn't work out of the box, didn't want to even go into the usb slot. I didn't return it, because the main reason i got this was for the 16GB micro SD card for my HTC phone...and that has worked just fine.

Get what you pay for.
These cards are slow to respond when accessing via PC. The adaptor did not seem to work so well - I used an adaptor from another micro card and that allows improved access. But, they were cheap and they haven't failed.

topram trouble
I had never heard of topram, but the price was right. Well the card failed in the first 48hrs of use. The vendor was great and we got the bad card replaced, but really, who wants to deal with that? The replacement card has been working a week so I think it's gonna be okay.

Getting Class 6 transfer speeds! Works great so far.
I received this card two days ago to use in my Blackberry Curve 8520. It has worked great so far. The capacity is only 14.8GB, but for the price I can let the 1GB discrepancy slide. I purchased mine through Amazon and it was supplied by Midwest Memory Outlet (fast shipping by the way). Using the included usb adapter I am getting average transfer speeds between 6MB-7MB/second. Unless I update this review you can assume that the card continues to work flawlessly for me.
