Hallux Rigidus Men's/Women's Full Length Insoles

I like these insoles a lot. I use them with my slippers in the morning without any cushioning insole and that helps the pain all day long. When I use them with my shoes during the day, I add the cushioned insoles. Again I use the insoles with my slippers at night and it depends on how much the toe hurts whether or not I use the cushioning insoles. I had a problem getting these ordered as they are sized and the Amazon interface does NOT require you to specify a size. The first pair I received was huge. I returned them and ordered another pair when I realized that the interface didn't ask me to specify a size, so I cancelled that order immediately, went back and reordered these insoles FOR THE THIRD TIME. PLEASE, PLEASE AMAZON, fix your interface.

I thought the big toe extension from the top down to the midsection only under the big toe would be "rigid", preventing my big toe ONLY from bending through each step. The entire piece is rigid with no cushion on the top. I will send back or take it to our shoe smith and see if he can use them to make what I described above. Fair price for what you get, just not what I expected, and I hope to be able to return them.

The insoles do help keep my toe joints more stable which enables me to walk farther, but they're a bit short for my 7.5 foot and tend to dig into the end of my toes after a while. Maybe I should have order the next size up.

i have no pain at all while walking.necessary to have something over the insoles or they feel a bit scratchy, but when properly used, they feel amazing.

My podiatrist had me use this for transition out of a walking boot for turf toe and a plantar plate tear on my first metatarsal. It was a lifesaver! It did only work in my hiking boots. Placing a thin padded insole (i.e. dr. scholls air pillo) over this stiff insole is a must for comfort.

Bought upon recommendation from podiatrist to use before surgery. Really helped with walking as the product limits the bending of the big toe.

I bought these inserts because I have halux ridgus or stiff big toe. I am a petite woman with a size 6 shoe. These would never fit into my shoes. They are so stiff that they cannot be trimmed to fit. Good idea, but doesn't work.

I have ordered a new set. Hopefully these will fit and be comfortable.
