Straight Edge Pomade, 4 Oz

As a nyc girl and the way the weather can easily expose our naturally curly hair . This product keeps hair straight and soft not like gel. Soft and smooth but straight like a relaxer without any harsh chemicals

I was excited when I received this in the mail from all the great reviews. So it's thick like a pomade,no strong scent and laid my type 4c edges down. One hour later it looked as though I had put Vaseline on my edges and my edges was back curly but now greasy. But I'm not going to give up on it, I am going to try it again and this time tie my edges down with a scarf and see what happens. Oh do keep it in a cool place because it will melt if room temp get higher than 76 degrees. So will do another review.

This item may work on wavy hair but terrible on 4c. I brought this item with the hope that it would work better then other hair gels. Nope I tried it on wet, dry, nothing! My edges didn't lay down for nothing I put it on and within 5 minutes before going out the door my edges was standing and saluting. What in the world I asked myself is this mess, yes it has some sheen to it and smells good but don't lazy the tough edges down. Sorry try again "PLEASE!" Passed this on to the wavy wet and go people can't doit!!

My stylist used this when I visited her a while back and it was great! It held my extra-coarse hair down smoothly. So much better than Olive Oil's version. But when I bought it online, I was highly disappointed. It just didn't do the trick, not sure if I got a bad bottle but if your hair is very coarse, it may not work, though, like I said, it has worked in the past when my stylist used it. It may very well be my user error.

It's okay as about edge control but does not keep it straight

This is the only product that can tame those edges between hair appointments. This IS the best hair gel around. It can not be found locally so I am glad that I can get it thru Amazon.

Weave Aide Straight Edge Pomade is the best for making braids. It leaves it smooth with great shine. It help hold my braids in place a lot longer.

Someone shared this with me and ever since I have been using it because it gets all the fuzz around your sides when and if you might want to wear a pony tail or etc.
