I purchased this bag in cognac because I saw it on a blogger. It looked functional, and I liked the fact that the bag could be turned into a purse when you no longer have use for it as a diaper bag. It is beautiful in person, and yes it does turn into a backpack... BUT I wouldn't say that the straps that go around the shoulders when in the backpack conformation is comfy. The straps do not have padding, so it can be fairly uncomfortable if you carry heavy items in your diaper bag. In addition, compared to the Vera Bradley Trimmed Vera, this bag does not seem to hold that much. For the same amount of items in my Vera bag with lots of room to spare, this bag looks stuffed. I don't know how other moms seems to find their items... must be all the compartments of the insert, but it is very tight and hard to actually visually see items even with the insert in the bag. I am still keeping it because it is pretty and I use it, but it is not as functional and as roomy as bloggers make it out to be. If I knew this sooner, I might have gone with the other backpack diaper bag. It definitely looks roomier.
