K2 Mounts K-PRO-B2 Universal Tilt Swivel Projector Ceiling Mount Paintable Black

Picked this up to mount a Viewsonic 5534w projector. It was a success, but it took about 20 minutes of head-scratching to find a working orientation for the arms that connect the mount to the projector. If the holes on your projector are far apart (probably more likely if you're not using a portable projector), you may have a much easier time. That said, the instructions are a single-sided postcard-size piece of a paper with a schematic and a parts list - my advice is start at the bottom of the schematic and work your way up.Releasing it from the mount is fairly easy (in the picture, the silver dot on the piece coming out of the ceiling is one of 2 metal pins that you can push in to detach the bottom).Note that you will need to buy separate screws (and perhaps anchors) to attach the mount to your ceiling since it only comes with washers and bolts for connecting the mount to your projector.

I use my projector in my patio. So I needed a mount with a quick release as I don't want to leave the projector outside. It prevents me from completely tightening down the projector. As such, I am adjusting it every time I reconnect the projector. While there some play, it's easy to adjust.

This mount will probably adapt to any projector it is rated for. It is versatile enough that I was able to ceiling mount my Optoma HD25LV using the rubber feet on the bottom of the projector by modifying the mount accordingly(with some help from a hacksaw). The mount is all metal and very sturdy. The quick release works great and because of how I was able to mount the projector, changing the bulb when needed will be very simple. I was quite surprised how well this mount worked for my particular situation.

Exactly what I needed. Mounted Viewsonic projector on top of a tall bookshelf using wood screws. Very sturdy, yet easy to move. The quick disconnect allows me to take off the projector easily if I need to move the bookshelf.

Does its job, but is extremely loose in the fitting. two pieces are not snug and require tape wrapped around the pipe in order to not bounce around easily.

Mounted my Benq w1070 and it worked just fine with a little adjusting but its low profile is just what i needed.

Not much to say other than they are exactly as described. Very pleased with product. Would highly recommend! Any issues were on my end.
