The primary purpose of this item is to bond a phone's screen to the phone's case. It fails to do this. I first used a single layer of tape and clamped the phone, but the screen separated within 24 hours after removing the clamps. I then tried a double layer of tape and clamped the phone, but the screen separated within 3 days after removing the clamps.

This tape wouldn't even stick to glue. I would recommend that T-fal look into using a layer of this tape in their next non-stick pan but it would probably fall off. Every application I have tried using this for, including several which were originally fixed together using 3M VHB adhesive like this tape is supposed to be, came apart after 24 hours or less. Scraped off the original adhesive (the plastic razors this set of tape comes with is actually pretty useful for that, don't worry, you won't need them to remove the actual tape from this set) cleaned with alcohol and applied this tape while wearing gloves to prevent oils from getting on the surface and tape and they just fell apart. Clamping doesn't help, cleaning doesn't help, roughing up the surfaces doesn't help polishing the surfaces doesn't help. After whatever you were adhering together falls apart, its shocking how easily the tape comes off whatever side it decided to stick to most. Actual 3M VHB tends to stretch out and break before coming off, especially on smooth plastic and glass. This is more like removing a post it note. Judging by the price I would assume that there is no genuine type 4910 adhesive used here.

Everything you need to replace a touch screen on a phone, tablet or laptop. I used the tape to secure a touchscreen on a 15.6" laptop and the hold is terrific. I used 2 lines since the tape is only 2mm wide but I was able to secure the screen successfully. The tweezers came in handy for removing the film covering the tape. I liked the addition of the plastic razor blades which I used to remove old tape residue from the laptop. You get more tape than you probably can use but for the price it can't be beat.

The glue strip was easy to use. The tweezer helped get off the old glue on my iPad. The two red things that look like razors are made of plastic and were very handy in scraping of the leftover glue. Was really easy to use and once you remove the red plastic covering the adhesive strip, the adhesive is really thin and clear. The new digitizer adhered well. Highly recommended.

This worked very well for me while replacing multi iPhone 7 s plus screen's to help re-create the water-resistant barrier. The added tweezers became useful to me in almost every aspect of cell phone repair, the tweezers alone I would have paid the listed price for had I known prior how sturdy and useful they would become.

Successful on my first attempt to reseal my phone after replacing the battery. This little kit was great. Though make sure you're good with small things. My phone was the LG G6.

Seller is good. Helped me out even though product didn't hold my smartphone's screen right enough. I bought Tessa tape later. Works have gotten that better take from them if they sold it.

I am mainly happy with the quality of stickiness of octopus roll glue! Tried it right away when I got it. Also very nice to have added little tools. Shipping was fast. Satisfied with my purchase overall. Great value.
