Brooklyn score

This music is not what you may think of with "Irish music" if you are thinking of upbeat lilting St. Pattie's day songs. It is very soulful, sometimes mournful following parts of the story, but absolutely beautiful. I've been playing it while sitting in traffic on the way to work and it takes me to a calm, gentle place. Bought the CD immediately after returning home from seeing this beautiful film.

I love the movie and the movie score as well. I play this while at work and everyone comments on the music. If you love this type of era film; and story-line - and you love Ireland, as I do - you will not be dissappointed with this CD.

The story line and dialogue are simple enough, however, to act this simplicity is very challenging.The casting is perfection. The musical score outstanding. The photography sear talent. Love whenfilm becomes a true art form.

Second sound track of this movie. The Irish music from film. Why they weren't combined in one is a question. Very enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed this period movie, especially as it was about the time and ages of my parents.
